PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visibility improvement assisting device capable of enhancing visual recognition ability (visibility) of a driver driving a vehicle.
SOLUTION: The visibility improvement assisting device is provided with a noise generation device 10 and a noise production device 20. In the noise production device 20, a noise production part 22 produces visual noise of the optimum noise intensity set based on a threshold value of visually recognizable noise intensity and outputs it to a control part 21. The optimum noise intensity is made to the noise intensity suitable for inducing stochastic resonance (SR). When a lighting switch 30 is in the OFF state, the control part 21 transmits a control signal (driving request signal) corresponding to the noise outputted from the noise production part 22 to a driving part 12 of the noise generation device 10. Thus, the visual recognition ability (visibility) of the driver can be enhanced by giving the visual noise to the driver driving the vehicle.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI | ||||||
