PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle recognition device, capable of exact recognition of a vehicle to be recognized in a short time with a simple image processing system, without the need for fitting a high-level image processing function on the recognizing vehicle side.
SOLUTION: A pair of right and left markers consisting of a first infrared marker 11 and a second infrared marker 12 are provided in a forward-looking manner on a surface of a reflecting mirror set in a pair of right and left winker lamps 4 (L, R). Moreover, a third infrared marker 13 is provided in a forward-looking manner at the lower position of the head lamp 3 of a front cowl 1. Thus, a virtual triangle 14 formed by connecting the respective infrared markers 11, 12 and 13 creates an inverted triangle with the head lamp 3 disposed inwardly.

PURPOSE:To ensure indication in the sideward direction by providing a battery and a light-emitting body in a space surrounded by a base and a glove. CONSTITUTION:An indicator lamp for a bicycle comprises a base 3, a translucent glove 2 stuck to the base 3, and a battery 7 and a light emitting body 6 both of which are disposed in a space surrounded by the base 3 and the glove 2. The form of the glove 2 is desirably projected from the base 3 so that the glove 2 is easily recognized. In this case, the bicycle indicator lamp is attached to the end of an axle shaft being perpendicular to the direction of the body of the bicycle. Very effective indication for a driver, etc., perpendicular to the direction of the bicycle is thus made possible. |

A lamp comprising a concave mirror; a light source located at the focus of said concave mirror; a lens means provided in front of said concave mirror and said light source comprising a central portion for allowing light from said light source to pass directly outward therethrough, and a peripheral portion around said central portion for providing directivity with the light reflected from said concave mirror by allowing the light to pass outward therethrough. The improvement comprises an annular reflector provided on the peripheral portion of the central part inside said lens means for reflecting light emitted from said light source toward said peripheral portion of said lens means back towards said concave mirror past said light source. Light reaching the concave mirror from the annular reflector and light reaching the concave mirror directly from the light source are directed toward the lens in directions parallel to the axis of the light source, thereby providing enhanced illumination by the lamp. |

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive traffic indicator having a high reliability by installing a piezo-electric generator and applying a pulse-shaped voltage from a piezo-electric body into discharge lamps. CONSTITUTION:When the lever 34 of a switching switch is turned clockwise from a neutral position, a wire W laid onto a rotor 32 is pulled, and a pivotal shaft mechanism P operates to turn and displace a piezo-electric generator G, and a rotor 17 is made contact with a wheel, and a pulse-shaped voltage is generated. At the same time, the movable terminal 32a of the rotor is made contact with one fixed terminal 32a of a stator, and one discharge circuit C1 is brought into conduction, and a pulse-shaped voltage is applied onto lamps L1 and L3, and the lamps blink. Attention is aroused to an oncoming car and a car behind for the fact that the relevant car is leftward turning state, by the blinks. When the lever 34 is turned counterclockwise, the fact that the relevant car is in rightward turning state is informed by the blink of the lamps L2 and L4. |
