The invention relates to a cost-effective rail system which can be driven upon by a board. Since the rail system can be easily assembled and disassembled again, the path can be very easily varied. The rail system is disposed in a sloping manner for this purpose. This can be done by constructing the rail system on a mountain slope, for example. By way of a specially designed board for this purpose, a so-called riding board on which a person can stand, the person can then ride down the slope. The riding board comprises a braking system. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and stably materialize the high speed transportation by providing a rail for controlling an attitude of the vehicle along the whole length of the track as well as a rail supporting the weight of a vehicle and by connecting the rail to the vehicle by another wheel a sliding element, etc., except for a wheel supporting the weight. SOLUTION: An underfloor truck and a wheel 10a which are mounted on a rail (a first rail) 3 for supporting the weight of a vehicle support the weight of the vehicle. The cross sectional shape of a tread face of the wheel in contact with the rail of the wheel 10a is formed into a recessed semicircular shape and fitted with the first rail 3. Similarly, the cross sectional shape of the tread face of the wheel in contact with the rail of a wheel 10b is formed into a recessed semicircular shape and fitted with another rail (a second rail) 7 for contact the attitude of the vehicle. The lower carriage plus the wheel 10a and the first rail 3 or the upper carriage plus the wheel 10b and the second rail 7 are fitted with each other respectively so that the vehicle is prevented from falling down laterally. |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effect branching without using a large scale device and to facilitate coping with the dust generation.
SOLUTION: This carrier equipment comprises a conveyance truck 1 and a track selecting means to select a track on which a carrier truck 1 is run at a branch point. A branch guide on the main track side and a branch guide on the branch track side are arranged at the internal part of the track in the shape of a box in cross section of a section to cover a branch point, and left and right branch selection rollers 10A and 10B serving as the track selection means are mounted on the carrier track 1. By engaging either of the branch selection rollers with the branch guide by a drive mechanism 50, an advancing direction is selected.

PURPOSE: To lessen the load on a track and embody a track device in a lightweight construction by forming the track device from a left and a right guide and a rail located right under the center of the guides, and allowing a trolley to run along the track device. CONSTITUTION: Stays 50 secured by a concrete pedestal are arranged at a certain spacing, and an overhead track is constructed, and a plurality of rail tables 48 are installed at a certain spacing along the track. An arc fixture 25 in the form of an arc of circle is installed on each rail table 48 in such an arrangement that the installing position is changeable, and a rail 23 is supported in the center of the supporting arc on the arc fixtures 25, and inward directed guides 24 having a channel section is supported on the inside of each end part of the supporting arc 22. An overhead running trolley 1 consists of a body 2 and chassis 3 and is run by a thrust force generated with rotation of a propeller 14 made by a propulsive motor in the condition that a driving wheel 4 is laid on the rail 23 and a left and a right guide wheel 11 are guided by the guides 24. |

A golf cart system which can be installed on the fairway of a golf course. The cart system has improved power economy and anti-rolling and anti-pitching motions of the cart. The golf cart system includes a track embedded in the ground and a cart adapted to run on the track. According to the golf cart system, since the track exposed at the ground is very narrow, there is less chance of a golf ball hitting against the track. Even if a golf ball should happen to accidentally hit the exposed track portion, the ball will bounce similarly as when striking on natural grass if the exposed track portion is covered by elastic members such as artificial turf. This makes it possible to install the golf cart system on the fairway of a golf course. In addition, the rolling motion of the cart is effectively prevented by the first and second anti-rolling rollers. Especially, the provision of the second anti-rolling rollers enables to effectively prevent the rolling motion of the cart, since they are positioned most away from the center of gravity of the cart and can generate a large anti-rolling moment. The pitching motion of the cart is also effectively prevented by the anti-pitching rollers. Thus the provision of the anti-pitching rollers makes it possible to install the golf cart system in a golf course abundant in. |
