CONSTITUTION:To take an example, molding material of unsaturated polyester resin is calendered by rolls into a sheet 1 and V grooves 2 are provided on the surface of said sheet 1 in parallel with the sheet take-off direction. The insides of the grooves 2 are coated and colored with coloring agent obtained by dissolving black dye in styrene monomer to obtain patterned molding material. Then, the material is cut and formed in heat and pressure to obtain a molded pan of imitation natural material wherein a black striped pattern is designed nicely on a white ground.
