CONSTITUTION: In case that the captioned device is effected in a wheel cover 1, a character display portion 2 for "ABC" is arranged on its surface side. This display portion 2 is arranged after being subjected to predetermined reflecting surface processing applied to the wheel cover 1 made of synthetic resin material which is colored in a color with low reflection. Namely, the display portion 2 is formed in such a way that a reflecting surface 3 which extends in the fixed direction (lateral direction on this paper) and a non-reflecting contact surface 4 are arranged one after another in the form of waves, the reflecting surface 3 is subjected to metal plating. Further, each reflecting surface 3 is parallel with each other and it is formed in a curved surface which curves concavely in the form of an arc along a downward direction drom a reference surface 8. And when a sight angle of a person who sees the display portion 2 is set to β, it is arranged in such a way that the display portion 2 can be recognized when a reflecting angle of a reflecting light R from each reflecting surface 3 agrees with β. PURPOSE:To obtain a wheel cover which is ornamentally excellent and has a cooling function, by arranging blade parts inclined with respect to the axial direction of the wheel cover. CONSTITUTION:The blade parts 11, 12 of wheel covers 1, 2 are radially arranged, bridging between the outer frame parts 12, 22 and the center parts 13, 23 of the wheel covers, and are integrally formed therewith inclined downward in the right and left direction, respectively. With this arrangement of the wheel covers for vehicles, the blade parts 11, 21 function so that during rotation of the wheel accompanied with the running of the vehicle in one direction the ambient air is sucked into the wheel disk side as shown in the drawing, while during rotation of the wheel in the direction opposite to that shown in the drawing the air is sucked from the wheel disc side and is discharged. Accordingly, heat in the wheel covers themselves and the wheel disk is dissipated to prevent the dwelling of heat.

This parent body 1 of a wheel is set to a vulcanization molding device for vulcanization molding. Then a part corresponding to the masking material layer 12 of a skirt part 21 of a rubber coating body 11 coating a rim 4 is made to peel of extending to the midway in the direction of the spoke shaft and the masking material layer 12 is made to expose. With this construction, a protruded part of the skirt part can be peeled off easily, water tightness and repelling of water of the edge of the skirt part are improved and the skirt part can be prevented from damaging.

PURPOSE:To obtain a colored wheel of which colored coating film has been improved in peel resistibility by such an arrangement wherein a colored coating film is composed by such a method that the surface of a wheel made of steel is first electroplated by nickel and it is further covered by a film of chromate, and then a transparent or colored paint is further coated on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A double-layered nickel layer of approx. 7.5mum in thickness is formed by electroplating a wheel made of steel by nickel, and then a film of colored chromate of approx. 200Angstrom in thickness is formed. A transparent and colorless urethane resin paint is coated to the internal and external circumferential surfaces of this wheel into a thickness of approx. 15-20mum. In this case, if a colorless chromate film is formed, a colored paint is to be applied. The ground nickel layer and the colored chromate film are seen in bright golden color through the transparent paint and a colored wheel which is excellent in durability can be obtained.

This pressure-sensitive adhesive film has excellent conformability and can be easily applied/bonded to a wheel surface of a three-dimensionally complicated shape or wheel surface having thinned spokes. After application to an automotive wheel, the adhesive film is less apt to peel off and highly prevents the automotive brake disk from rusting.
