PURPOSE: To provide a new improved web adjuster.
CONSTITUTION: A web adjuster 40 fastening a web 25 is formed into a flat shape. A seat 20 is provided with a harness 23, in which one end is extended through the web adjuster 40 installed to the seat 20. A pivot cam of the adjuster 40 engages one end of the harness lockingly in a desirable embodiment, and in this case, the cam is moved when a cam member is energized and a control member provided with a pair of arms installed pivotally in the cam member in the position to force the cam member apart from the web is pulled. Under normal loading, the cam member touches the web and holds the web to the bottom part of the adjuster, and under high loading, the web also holds the web against an upraised rib on the bottom wall.

A vehicle seat construction includes a reinforcement member, which is secured on a frame of a vehicle seat main body, and anchor bars fixed on the reinforcement member such that connector portions of a child seat can be brought into releasable engagement with the anchor bars, respectively. The vehicle seat main body is provided with a seat cushion and a seatback. The anchor bars are fixed on upper portions of the reinforcement member, respectively, such that guide portions for guiding the corresponding connector portions of the child seat to the associated anchor bars are located below the anchor bars. |

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply carry out operation of regulating a coupling position of a belt tightening lock member for such as a tang and a buckle to a seat belt while enabling a passenger to exactly corresponding to the operation. <P>SOLUTION: A pressed member 11a<SB>3</SB>of a clamp member 11a is pressed by specified pressing force against energizing force of a torsion spring 13, so that the clamp member 11a is rotated in a clockwise direction to release pinching of the seat belt 3 due to cooperation with a buckle main body 9a, and the seat belt 3 is released to be relatively movable to the buckle 9. By releasing pressing of the pressed member 11a<SB>3</SB>, the clamp member 11a is rotated in a counterclockwise direction by the energizing force of the torsion spring 13, and the seat belt 3 is pinched (clamped) between a surface roughness pinching surface 11a<SB>2</SB>of the clamp member 11a and a surface roughness pinching surface 9a<SB>1</SB>of the buckle main body 9a by cooperation of these pinching surfaces. The seat belt 3 does not relatively move to the buckle 9, and regulates a position of the buckle 9 to the seat belt 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a lock part without a sharp edge causing weakening of a belt strap at a low cost by bending one wire of a designated length in a desired shape, and pressing the bent wire to designated dimensions.
SOLUTION: A belt control device comprises a holding part 10 and a lock part 12, wherein the holding part 10 includes a piercing opening 14 for a belt strap (webbing), and a stop area 16 which is adjacent to the edge of the opening 14 and inclined at an angle of about 15° to the face of the opening. On the other hand, the lock part 12 has a support part 18 and a camber plate part 20, and a clamp area 22 is provided on the side of the camber plate 20 directed to the holding part 10. At this time, the lock part 12 is formed by bending one wire obtained by cutting a continuously fed wire to a designated length by a cutting tool in a desired shape, then bending two axial ends to the middle part at an angle of about 90° by a bending tool, and pressing the same to designated dimensions in such a manner that a clamp area 22 comprising an orthogonal indent is provided in the middle part area.
