61 Child restraining safeguard seat JP3282693 1993-01-28 JPH06219195A 1994-08-09 HIRAMATSU KOJI; SEZE KAZUO
PURPOSE: To positively and easily lock and hold the whole of a child restraining safeguard seat in a seating seat by locking the webbing of a crew-restraining seat belt device to the belt locking means of a seat back part, thereby preventing the webbing from being drawn out from a winding device to hold a state in which the webbing is fixed on the seating seat. CONSTITUTION: A belt hook 21 is formed on the upper position of the back side of a seat back part 6 with which the back of a child comes into contact, and the webbing W of a seat belt device is locked and fixed to the belt hook 21. The webbing W of a shoulder belt 20 from a shoulder anchor is extended along a cover 12 locked to the belt hook 21 attached to the upper part of the rear face of the seat back part 6, and is connected and fixed to a buckle device 22 near a seating seat S. Besides, the webbing W which is turned up at a tongue 23 to form a lap belt 24, passes through between a seat part 3 and a seat part body 5, and its end part is fixed to an anchor situated near the floor. PURPOSE:To fix surely an infant restraining portection seat to a vehicle seat in a stable manner even in the case where there is a large difference between the widths of both seats. CONSTITUTION:At a seat main body 7 a belt guide 20 and a holding spring 119 to support it are installed. At the normal time, the belt guide 120 is set at a non-use position at which it is locked and held by the holding spring 119. At the use time, the guide 120 is released therefrom to extend leftward to turn so that protruding parts 120c, 120d thereof are respectively fitted in grooves 23, 24, and as a result, the guide part 120a of the guide 120 is made to protrude right and left. When a seat belt 131 of vehicle 131 is guided by the guide part 120a, the engaging part between a tung 123 and a buckle 124 is released from a corner part of an infant restraining protection seat, thereby ensuring the engagement between the tung 123 and the buckle.

A vehicle safety apparatus for restraining movement of a vehicle occupant or a child seat includes a tongue assembly and belt webbing which is selectively extensible through the tongue assembly along either a first path or a second path. The first path includes first and second webbing openings in the tongue assembly through which the belt webbing is extensible and slidable when the safety apparatus is used to restrain movement of a vehicle occupant. The second path includes the first and second webbing openings and further includes a third webbing opening in the tongue assembly. The belt webbing may selectively be extended through the third webbing opening to block movement of the belt webbing through the tongue assembly when the safety apparatus is used to restrain movement of a child seat.

PURPOSE: To prevent a bar from unexpected returning to the release position, by equipping a pair of wire bars extended between a frame and the bar to engage with the bar in the lateral direction of a web. CONSTITUTION: A pair of wire springs 29, 30 are respectively attached to upright brackets 14, 15 to engage with both ends of a cam bar 17 to press the cam to the maximum counterclockwise direction position or a lock position. Both wire springs are made rotatable in the clockwise direction and a lip 24 is moved into front of a web stop 23 to release the web 18 to make it relatively movable. In the bottom Figure, the wore spring 29 and the upright bracket 14 are explained, and the wire spring 30 and the bracket 15 are also similarly applied. The bracket 14 has a rear ward ear part 31 at the top and a pair of notches 32, 33 in the vicinity. One end of the wire spring 29 is extended through the notch and turns around the ear part 31 to connect the wire spring to the upright bracket 14. The spring 29 approaches from the notch 33 to the bracket 14, but extends upper inside of a curve to extend in front of serration face 20 on the cam bar 17.

PURPOSE: To minimize the interference with an occupant by separating a cover from the face means at the intermediate portion of a bar, making the bar slidable relative to a base, engaging the intermediate portion of the bar with a belt, pressing the belt to the base, and making the belt thin. CONSTITUTION: When a tongue assembly 14 is connected to a buckle, the buckle is engaged with the first end section 42 of a base plate 30, and a bar 34 and a cover 36 are pulled backward by the spring force applied to the belt 16 of a retractor on the base plate 30. The intermediate portion 62 of the bar 34 presses the belt 16 to a belt guard 48 on the base plate 30, thereby the relative motion of the belt 16 and the assembly 14 is prevented and held. The thickness of the cover 36 is made smaller than the range that the cover 36 is protruded outward from the plane 40 of the bar 34 so that the belt 16 is not protruded outward from the plane 40 of the bar 34. The portion of the belt 16 overlapped on the plane 40 of the bar 34 is located in the space formed by the cover 36. The thickness of the assembly 14 is determined by the base plate 30 and the thickness of the cover 36.

PURPOSE: To reduce the force of a winding spring of a retractor by constituting a safety apparatus in such a way that a belt passes through a tongue assembly among a substantially linear path at the time of separating the tongue assembly from a buckle so as to make the belt easily movable in relation to the tongue assembly. CONSTITUTION: A part of a safety belt 16 entering a tongue assembly 14 form an opening 54 is positioned almost parallel to a main part 34 of a base plate 32. Force is applied to a lock bar 40 by sliding motion between the tongue assembly 14 and the safety belt 16, and the lock bar 40 is held into a release position while winding the safety belt 16 onto a retractor assembly 18. At this time, a frictional force between the tongue assembly 14 and the safety belt 16 is extremely small. When the tongue assembly 14 is disconnected from a buckle, the tongue assembly 14 descends along the belt 16 due to the action of gravity. Force applied to the safety belt 16 by the retractor assembly 18 therefore need not be so large as to pull in both of the safety belt 16 and tongue assembly 14.
