PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taking out method and tool for a foamed support ring for a touring car. SOLUTION: The method for taking out the foamed support ring (B) from an internal space of a tire (P) has a stage for forming a space (E) between an apex part of the foamed support ring and a bead of the tire; a stage capable of introducing a first roller (1) into the space (E) by introducing a means (F) capable of maintaining the accessable space (E) into the space (E); and a stage for introducing second and third rollers (2, 3) into an internal space formed by an inner diameter of the foamed support ring. The method further has a stage for moving the first roller (1) relative to the second and third roller (2, 3) after a retaining means (F) is taken out and pressing the foamed support ring to a space between the second and third rollers (2, 3) to make it to a U shape; and a stage for releasing the foamed support ring by operating the rollers (1, 2, 3).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach an excitation device to an assembly of a tire and a wheel with a high operation efficiency. SOLUTION: This device makes contact parts 22B, 24B abut against a side wall part of a tire 92, and tilting a lever 52 of an handle member 48 towards a Q2 direction presses an eccentric disk plate 46 against a slide part 24A, thereby making them an integral body. In this state, rotating the lever 52 by 180 degrees about a pin member 40 moves holding member 22, 24 toward a direction making the holding members 22, 24 closer to each other through an action of the eccentric disk plate 46. With this motion, an attaching auxiliary device 20 clamps the tire 92, and is fixed to the tire 92. Just rotating the lever 52 in two directions will allow attaching the attaching auxiliary device 20 (excitation device) without using a tool.

PURPOSE: To provide an inflator for inflating a tire in a wheel/tire assembly line to obtain proper inflation pressure to compensate for a temperature change. CONSTITUTION: This inflator is provided with a sensor 94 for sensing the temperature of compressed air used in inflating a tire, and with a sensor 96 for sensing the outside air temperature in a factory, and by a controller 88, the tire reference inflation pressure corresponding to the reference temperature is corrected according to a difference between the reference temperature and the actual measured temperature, and valves 84, 86 in air supply lines 76, 78 are controlled to obtain the correction inflation pressure. A sensor 98 for sensing the actual inflation pressure is also provided to conduct the feedback control. COPYRIGHT: (C)1992,JPO

PURPOSE:To detect simply easily damaged portions of a rubber tire for an automobile or the like by forcibly filling white or colored fine powder or smoke into the tire to observe positions from which the smoke or the like is jetted. CONSTITUTION:An air connecting port 5 is connected to a compressor to forcibly inject a fuming agent from a fuming agent container 2 into a tire by operating and air supply valve 6. Thus, since the fuming agent is jetted from damaged portions of the tire, the damaged portions can be visually detected. After repair, can be checked similarly the damaged portions. Thus, the damaged portions can be easily detected.

PURPOSE:To economize the labour necessary for the tire assembling process in a car assembly line by realizing automatic elevation to an assembly position and automatic demount of a nut runner. CONSTITUTION:A tire holding apparatus D1 is constituted of a pair of arms 46a and 46b at right and left and a Z-shaped link. Each arm 46a, 46b has rods 47 provided with two rotatable rollers 48 for holding tire at two positions, namely at its top edge and the point in the vicinity of the base edge where the tire is incribed, and said base edge is pivotally supported onto a bracket 45 installed onto an arm 44 by a pin 49. A z-shaped link mechanism is constituted of members 50, 51, and 52, and said member 51 is pivotally supported by a bracket 53 installed onto the arm 44 so as to be turnable around a pin at the point where the interior-division is set in a proper ratio for permitting the uniform motion of the both arms.
