PURPOSE:To facilitate repairing without enlarging a nail hole and to improve strength and durability after repairing, by a method wherein an inner circumferential wall of the nail hole is heated and dried by inserting a heated drill-like bar into the nail hole, then heated raw rubber is injected into the hole with pressure and cooled naturally. CONSTITUTION:After insertion of filling rubber made of cylindrical raw rubber 7 into a holding cylinder 6, a knob component 3 is inserted and connected and a heating cylinder 12 is heated by feeding a heater 13. With this construction, a heating bar 14 and the filling rubber 7 are heated. Then the heating bar 14 is inserted into a nail hole of a tire to an extent not to extend the nail hole and an inner circumferential wall of the hole is made to heat and dry. Then the heating bar 14 is pulled out of the tire, the knob component 3 is pulled out of a holder component 10, and the filling rubber 7 is pressed in the nail hole 7 by abutting the tip of the holding cylinder 6 against the nail hole and compressing a spring 8. Then cooling naturally, the filling raw rubber 7 is made to adhere closely to the hole. With this structure, the tire can be repaired in favorable strength and durability.

The tool 8 is then removed but the sleeve part 9 only is left therein. The female screw part threaded on the tool 12 at the root part thereof and the male screw part 10 threaded on the sleeve part 9 at the end part thereof are screwingly engaged with each other and the plug A only is left in the punctured hole 6 by integrally pulling the sleeve part 9 and the tool 12. The stick-like main body 1 of the filler plug A having the shorter inner diameter than the sleeve part 9 has flanges 2 and 3 at both the top and bottom ends thereof and also has a core member 4 embedded through the center, said member 4 connecting the flanges 2 and 3 to each other.
