PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely cut off a circuit in a short time, and even in the case the circuit cannot be cut off by troubles of a control section or the like, surely cut off the circuit due to an abnormal temperature of a bus bar or the control section in a short time. SOLUTION: When the control section is normal, a firing part 29 is fired by an abnormal signal from the control section, and a heating agent 27 filled up in a thermite case 26 gets heat, and a retainer 45 is melted by this heat so that a compression spring 39a extends to make the thermite case 26 jump and rise, therefore, an electric connection among the thermite case 26, the first bus bar 11a and the second bus bar 19a are cut off, thus the circuit is surely cut off in the short time. When the circuit cannot be cut off by troubles of a control section 70, a temperature detection switch 71 turns on by the heating of the control section 70, and a current flows from a power supply 80 to a resister 30b, and the heating of the resistor 30b makes an igniter 30a fired, and the circuit can be surely cut off in a short time. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact gas type breaker capable of breaking a source circuit by force and surely only on the occurrence of abnormalities such as short circuit of wire harness and collision of vehicle. SOLUTION: A lock 18 for preventing sliding displacement of a shaft 16 puts it in a locking state energized with pressing force by a reset spring 19. A piston 21, which can be energized with pressing force in inverse direction in excess of that of the reset spring 19 with the use of sublimation of a gas generating agent 23 contained in an igniter 22, is connected to the lock with intermediate of a lock actuating plate 20. With a circuit breaking signal applied to the igniter 22, the gas generating agent 23 sublimates and the piston 21 is actuated with pressing force in inverse direction in excess of that of the reset spring 19 by the gas generated, thus the lock 18 is pressed back to unlock the shaft 16. Accordingly, break of a source circuit through sliding displacement of the shaft 16 by other causes than sublimation of the gas generating agent 23, such as shock or vibration, can be avoided. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive circuit breaker that can improve safety and a wire harness unit by means of this. SOLUTION: This is equipped with 3 or more connecting terminals 11a-11n provided for 2 or more power supplies and 1 or more loads in one-to-one correspondence and connected to 2 or more power supplies and 1 or more loads, connecting members 26 with conductivity for mutually connecting the 3 or more connecting terminals 11a-11n, and a breaking means 28 that breaks more than 3 circuits by moving the connecting members 26 so as to separate from the more than 3 connecting terminals 11a-11n, based on external breaking signal at an abnormal occasion of a vehicle. Since every circuit is broken at a time with a single circuit-breaking unit, safety can be improved, as well as at a low cost.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent such a situation as reconduction of a power supply circuit by external force of impact, vibration and the like after the power supply circuit is broken forcibly at the time of abnormality occurrence such as short- circuiting of a wire harness and vehicle collision, and to allow reset. SOLUTION: A reset knob 20 is attached to a tip part of a shaft 16, a torsion spring 21 and a return preventing lock 22 are stored deflectedly inside the reset knob 20, and the lock 22 is rotatable around a reset knob supporting point 20a of the reset knob 20 as a shaft by a load of the torsion spring 21. The return preventing lock 22 is projected thereby by force of the torsion spring 21 from an inside of the reset knob 20 integrated to the shaft 16, so as to prevent the shaft 16 and the reset knob 20 from being returned to an initial position. Since the return preventing lock 22 is easily stored to the reset knob 20 manually, a reset operation for returning the shaft 16 to the original initial position is easily carried out. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily assembled gas power supply breaker capable of surely breaking forcibly an power supply circuit only at the time of abnormality occurrence such as short-circuiting of a wire harness and vehicle collision. SOLUTION: A front cover 24 having an elastic locking arm 23 is mounted on a reset knob 20 attached to a tip part of a shaft, an engaging protrusion 25 is formed in a base body 15, and the elastic locking arm 23 is engaged with the protrusion 25 in an initial position of the shaft to form an engagement part B for the base body 15 and the front cover 24, so as to evade thereby the situation that the shaft is moved slidingly by a factor such as impact or vibration other than sublimation of a gas activator to break an electric power source circuit. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker combining a break part and control part, capable of certainly breaking a circuit in a short time to protect an electrical component when an abnormal signal of a vehicle is inputted. SOLUTION: In this circuit breaker, a current sensor 73 detects a current flowing through a first bus bar 11, and a CPU 74 outputs a drive control signal to a drive circuit 77 when the detection current of the current sensor 73 becomes above a threshold current. The drive circuit 77 operates an ignition part 29 through a second board 65 and a terminal 50 to ignite the ignition part 29, heat generated by a heating agent 27 melts a second projecting part 41, and a compression spring 34 expands to spring up a thermite case 26, so that electrical connection of the thermite case 26 with first and second bus bars 11, 19 is broken. An outer vessel 61 housing the current sensor 73, the CPU 74 and the drive circuit 77 is integrally installed to a cap 14a and a resin case 14b housing the thermite case 26, the ignition part 29, the compression spring 34 and the second projecting part 41. Thereby, no operation failure of the ignition part 29 caused by disconnection of wire or the like occurs.

An actuator driven by combustion of powder satisfactorily transmits energy for driving an output part to the output part. An output piston part has a specific end face that receives driving energy. A sealing member confines the combustion products in a first space separated by the sealing member. The sealing member has a fixed end portion and a contact portion that is in contact with the specific end face. In a state before the combustion of powder in an igniter, the contact portion is located at an initial position. With the combustion of powder in the igniter, the contact portion shifts to an operative position with the sliding motion of the output piston part while being in contact with the specific end portion.
