41 Railway carriage with access adapted for mobility-impaired passengers JP2009056156 2009-03-10 JP2009214876A 2009-09-24 HACHET JOEL; CHERDO MICHEL
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway carriage with access adapted for passengers on wheel chair without any assistance of train personnel. SOLUTION: The railway carriage has a floor surface 4 having at least one lower platform 26 and two higher floor level surfaces 30, 31. The lower platform 26 has the floor height lower than the higher floor level surfaces 30, 31, and is arranged opposite to a door 10. The lower platform 26 is capable of performing the translational motion. The lower platform 26 is connected to the higher floor level surfaces 30, 31 by inclined passages 32, 28, 34. 42 Body of rolling stock JP14682889 1989-06-12 JPH0295971A 1990-04-06 OMURA KEIJI; OKUNO SUMIO; TAKECHI MICHIFUMI; OKAZAKI MASATO; MASAI KENTARO
PURPOSE: To make the body of a rolling stock light in weight by enlarging the shearing stiffness of that part of the body situated closer to a pillow beam against vertical load, and forming a stud in the side structure from a different material having high stiffness. CONSTITUTION: When a vertical load is applied to the body 1 of a rolling stock, a stud 4a deforms, and a secondary bending load is generated. A stud member 11 is made in strong constitution, and its lower bone 10 and upper bone 9 are directly coupled with a waist band 12 and a screen band 13 of the side structure 2, and thereby the components are consolidated to receive the vertical load to lead to enhancement of the stiffness, and that part 1a of the side structure 2 situated closer to a pillow beam against the shearing force is enhanced. As the stud 4a is made of stainless steel, its allowable stress is higher than the other portions to increase the incremental factor of the stiffness per unit weight of the body 1, which ensures making the rolling stock light in weight.
