A power and free conveyor system is provided which utilizes a difference in height between the wipe in power trolley and the wipe out power trolley, with or without a camming down of a retractable wide dog of the free trolley, to allow the wipe in power chain to wipe in over the retractable dog without any possibility of lateral interference. Thereafter the elevation of the wipe in power trolley and the wipe out power trolley are the same. Improved stop device operating to push down the retractable dog and therefore cause disengagement of the retractable dog from the power chain dog are also provided. |

Apparatus for removing pollutants, particularly automotive exhaust gases, from work areas or the like is formed with an elongate stationary duct for exhausting pollutants therethrough and with a bearing bracket longitudinally movable along the stationary duct for connecting an exhaust hose to the duct adapted to receive pollutants. By movement of the bearing bracket along the duct, the exhaust hose may be moved to any one of a number of desired locations. The stationary duct is formed with displaceable sealing elements which are moved by the bearing bracket between a sealing position and a position allowing the hose to be placed in flow communication with the stationary duct as the bearing bracket is moved along the duct. Alternatively, the exhaust hose may be connected with a second elongate duct which is itself movably connected with the stationary duct through displaceable sealing elements. |

Switch comprises a frog connected between the main and branch trackways, and a load-carrier diverter pivotally mounted externally of the frog. Diverter has vertical plates on each side of the frog with inwardly-directed bottom margins having opposed guide edges for action on carrier guide elements projecting through a slot in the base of the frog. A pneumatic cylinder and ram device pivots the diverter between straightthrough position and a divert position.

A trolley for use on a conveyor track having two channel section portions arranged with their mouths facing towards one another has two pairs of load bearing wheels mounted on respective ones of a pair of carriers. The carriers are received in respective slots formed in a body of the trolley, these slots having open mouths which face along the track so that the carriers can be withdrawn from the body while the load bearing wheels remain in engagement with the track. The carriers, with the load bearing wheels still mounted thereon, can then be withdrawn from the track through a gap between the channel section portions.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suspensory conveyance facility capable of changing a supporting position of supporting tools at right and left with a common change means.
SOLUTION: A supporting part 30 for a conveyed article is provided on a moving body 9 movable along a fixed path 4. The supporting tools 50 for supporting the conveyed article from a lower part are provided on a lower part of the supporting part 30 at the right and left so that the supporting position is freely changeable. The change means 70 positioned between the supporting tools 50 at the right and left is provided in the fixed path 4 so as to change the supporting position by the supporting tool 50. The moving body 9 is made to travel and the empty supporting part 30 is stopped in a position confronting the change means 70. The change means 70 is actuated and thereby the supporting position by the supporting tool 50 can be changed. Therefore, plural kinds of the conveyed articles can be stably supported. The structure and operation can be simplified by the common change means 70. The supporting position of the supporting tools 50 at the right and left can be rapidly and surely changed.

PURPOSE: To prevent an article during conveyance from receiving any pollution out of a conveyor element by constituting this conveyor system that a cantilever article supporting part in a carrier, setting up this part in one side of a conveyor track, and moving the conveyor element supporting and propelling the carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A frame structure 26 of a carrier 12 is suspended beneath an overhead conveyor track 10 from a load carrying trolley 29 by a connecting part 30, and the carrier 12 is moved along the conveyor track 10 by a carrier propelling means installed in a carrier track 14. An article 32 is attached to an article supporting part 27, and this article 32 is installed in the track 10 in lateral direction separative relation. An auxiliary track 34 extends in parallel with the track 10 and laterial direction separative relation at the opposite side, and engaged with at least one stabilizing wheel 36 installed in a stabilizing part 28. Therefore, the article 32 is not situated beneath the track 10 so that it is polluted from trolley and chain constituent elements during movement pertaining to the track 10. Moreover, the article 32 is not checked by a constituent element of the carrier 12.

PURPOSE:To prevent the runaway of a bogie by movably providing two brake devices along a guide rail. CONSTITUTION:The ram 13d of a brake device 13B is protruded to restrict the shift between a guide rail 6 and the brake device 13, and a hydraulic jack 15 is driven to protrude a ram 15a. Then, a hydraulic unit 12 and the brake device 13A are moved in the B direction. Next, the ram 13d of the brake device 13B is retreated to release the coupling with the guide rail 6, and the ram 13d of the brake device 13A is protruded to restrict the shift between the guide rail 6 and the brake device 13A. Then, when the ram 15a of the hydraulic jack 15 is retreated, the brake device 13B and a bogie 7 are moved in the B direction together with mounted conduits 9. Accordingly, the conduits 9 are towed together with the bogie 7 and are installed. |
