PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for manufacturing knotty for construction in the curved shape is provided to simply mold finger jointed edge glued panels for a curved construction in a short time and promptly finish the manufacturing at a construction site, thereby reducing construction time and expense. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing knotty for construction in the curved shape includes the steps of forming a template with a material having an extremely little deformation ratio in the corresponding shape and real measures to construct(100), preparing joining panels with timbers having a good deformation ratio by cutting and matching to a thickness able to deform according to a required curvature(200), securing the template in a center of molds and fixing the molds in positions with a predetermined distance along an outline of the template(300), carrying out stacking, joining and pressing a plurality of joining panels deposited with a predetermined resin adhesive against the molds and templates by pressing whole surfaces with a uniform pressure for a predetermined time(400), and curing the pressed panels to prevent restoring of curvature molded parts after gradually releasing the pressure by operating the molds(500).

The invention relates to a method for the production of a three-dimensional, flexibly deformable surface element made of wood or a wood composite material for finishing layered, three-dimensional formed parts or for coating three-dimensional formed parts. A work piece made of wood, laminated wood or a wood composite material and one or more additional surface materials are used to this end, the thickness of which is at least 5 % bigger than the thickness of the 3D surface element to be produced. Narrow grooves spaced from one another are made in the work piece, wherein the depth of the groove is bigger or equal to the thickness of the 3D surface element and smaller than the thickness of the work piece. The fraction of the work piece that goes beyond the thickness of the 3D surface element to be produced is then separated from the remaining 3D surface element or is treated in such a way that, at least temporarily, no solid cohesion of the splines of the future 3D surface element that have been separated by the grooves exists. The areas of the work piece that have been divided from one another by the grooves are fixed to one another and/or to a support by a cross joint before, during or after separation from the work piece.

The invention concerns a method for stripping and sanitizing a container (14) inner surface presenting a layer of organic and/or mineral deposit, in particular tannin resulting from winemaking in cask. The invention is characterised in that it consists in applying on the surface to be treated a pulsed radiation (4) produced by an intense optical source (1), each pulse being of sufficiently short duration having sufficiently high treating energy density per unit area to bring about sublimation of said surface deposit, the resulting exposed container surface being sanitized by the heat released by the radiation. The invention also concerns a device for implementing said method.
120 MOULD FOR CURVED PANELS EP01932061.3 2001-04-26 EP1328385A1 2003-07-23 MORANDI, Maurizio
The invention relates to a mould for the manufacture of curved insulating panels, which comprises an upper half-mould (2) and a lower half-mould (3) opposite each other. The structure of both said half-moulds is formed by a respective chain of modular frames (5) hinged together and having a pyramidal or similar shape, which are connected at their tips by actuators. These actuators, when they are operated, vary their length and cause the frames to rotate with respect to each other, thereby curving the surface of the hold-moulds acting on the panels to be manufactured. In this way it is possible to produce panels with various radii of curvature using a single mould. The invention also includes a press for use with the abovementioned mould.
