Thereby, not only the height of leg parts is easily adjustable, but also the adjusted height can be fixed as it is even with the elapse of long time, and the structure is simplified so as to improve inconvenience in use due to frequent breakdown or malfunction of the conventional height-adjusting device, and as a result, productivity and reliability of the height-adjusting device are enhanced so as to allow a good image to be given to consumers. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair leg cover capable of preventing the top of a chair leg from moving inside the chair leg cover by attaching the cover closely to the whole top part of the chair leg, extending the life of the inner bottom part (e.g. a cushion member) of the chair leg cover, preventing the chair leg cover from being detached from the chair leg almost permanently, and improving the durability of the connection between a pedestal part and a covering member. SOLUTION: The cover is structured to cover the top part of the chair leg. The cover consists of the pedestal part in contact with a floor surface, and the circular-knitted cylindrical covering member attached to the upper surface of the pedestal part directly or indirectly, whose top is open as a chair leg insertion hole. Then, the inner cap 7, slide ground body 5 and outer insert 4 are integrated and while protruding the slide ground body 5 from the downside of an outer insert 4, a fore leg cap 22 and a rear leg cap 23 are formed. Besides, the outer insert 4 of the fore leg cap 22 is vertically or almost vertically erected from a horizontal lower and 4' and the outer insert 4 of the rear leg cap 23 is erected obliquely from the horizontal lower end 4'.
