14 Fixing system for carrier bags for motorcycles US13578366 2011-02-07 US08919624B2 2014-12-30 Giuseppe Visenzi
A system is described for hooking and unhooking a carrier bag with respect to the tank of a motorcycle. The system comprises a first group of components suitable to be fixed to the carrier bag and a second group of components suitable to be fixed to the tank. The first group of components comprises a flexible ring provided with a plurality of locking teeth elastically projecting inwards of such a flexible ring. The locking teeth are coupled with an annular flange of the second group of components to obtain the hooking of the carrier bag to the tank. On the flexible ring there is a hand-driven mechanism for the radial retraction of the locking teeth to generate a radial displacement of such locking teeth, allowing disengagement between the flexible ring and the annular flange and, hence, obtaining the disengagement of the carrier bag from the tank.
15 Electrical accessory mounting device for a saddle-type vehicle US13052823 2011-03-21 US08627990B2 2014-01-14 Shoichi Nakajima; Shizuo Kawano; Yoshifumi Oe

This system of attachment straps and connectable fasteners along with methods for attaching these straps and fasteners to a hydration pack and a motorcycle result in the hydration pack being securely, yet removably mounted to the motorcycle fuel tank area.
19 Lock-on motorcycle tank bag US10457516 2003-06-10 US20040031833A1 2004-02-19 Leslie K. Alderman
A mounting system designed to mount a luggage piece to the gas tank of a motorcycle. It consists of two separate pieces. A circular ring manufactured in such way as to be able to be bolted to the perimeter mounting flange of the aviation style gas caps used on some motorcycles. This ring includes a push-pin cylinder lock affixed perpendicular to the rings side, extending the locks retractable lock pin beyond the inner wall of the ring when actuated. Additionally, pins inserted through the wall of the ring protrude beyond the edge of the rings inner surface to the inside and provide the interface attachment point for the press fit collar that comprises the other half of the mount system. A similar diameter collar is affixed to the bottom of the luggage piece. This collar is of a diameter that provides for a press fit of the collar inside the lock ring. Slots are cut into the side of this collar for the purpose of engaging the pins protruding to the inside of the lock ring. An additional cut out in the side of the collar provides for insertion of the push-pin locks retractable lock pin. Once the collar is press fit inside the lock ring, actuation of the push-pin lock extends the retractable lock pin through the engagement hole in the collar, effectively locking the collar and lock ring together. This system provides both a hard point mount that acts as a spacer between the gas tank surface and the luggage piece, and a locking device that locks the luggage piece affixed collar to the ring once the cylinder push-pin lock is actuated.
