The components of the sound system are generally surrounded by a cushioning filler and enclosed in a housing formed of a durable flexible fabric. The package is attached to the motorcycle by the magnetic force provided by magnets mounted in the bottom of the housing.

A tear-drop shaped article carrying bag adapted to be supported on the flat top of a motorcycle fuel tank is formed of a closely woven fabric and has a zipper extending about the line of attachment of the top to the two sides and the narrow front end so that when opened the top lifts forward, as a flap, about the line of attachment to the narrow forward end. A transparent map protector is sewn over the top and access to the area between the protector and the top is attained through a slit formed in the top when the bag is opened. The bottom of the bag rests on a resilient pad with a hole for the protruding fuel cap. A pair of straps surround the pad and the tank and have short auxiliary strap sections extending from their sides which pass through D-rings attached to the bottom of the bag to releasably secure the bag to the tank.

The holster includes a front edge attached to a first hinge mounted to the inside surface of the lid and a rear edge attached to a second hinge assembly attached to the inside surface of the main box. The two hinge assemblies are configured to hold the holster vertically upright inside the interior cavity when the lid is opened and then repositioned to hold the holster horizontally inside the interior cavity when the lid is closed. Mounted on the bottom surface of the main box is a coupler that selectively attaches to a mount attached to a mounting surface enabling the enclosure to be selectively attached or detached to the mounting surface.

A system is described for hooking and unhooking a carrier bag with respect to the tank of a motorcycle. The system comprises a first group of components suitable to be fixed to the carrier bag and a second group of components suitable to be fixed to the tank. The first group of components comprises a flexible ring provided with a plurality of locking teeth elastically projecting inwards of such a flexible ring. The locking teeth are coupled with an annular flange of the second group of components to obtain the hooking of the carrier bag to the tank. On the flexible ring there is a hand-driven mechanism for the radial retraction of the locking teeth to generate a radial displacement of such locking teeth, allowing disengagement between the flexible ring and the annular flange and, hence, obtaining the disengagement of the carrier bag from the tank.

The harness system may include a strap which wraps around the top of the PED cabinet to firmly hold the PED cabinet in place on a harness pad part of the harness system. The anchor system may include straps which connect to the motorcycle rearward of a motorcycle's gas tank and additional straps which connect to the motorcycle forward of the motorcycle's gas tank. The PED cabinet may include adjustable speakers mounted thereon. An accessory bar can be mounted to the vehicle. PEDs can be mounted to the accessory bar, and power outlets can be mounted to the accessory bar for powering PEDs on the vehicle.

Quick disconnect fastener elements are carried by each harness adapted to mate with corresponding quick disconnect fastener elements secured to straps fastened to the bottom of the motorcycle tank bag providing a three-point retention. A motorcycle tank pad is positioned underneath the bottom of the tank bag by the tank bag straps passing through slits formed in the pad. Projecting tab portions of the tank pad underlie each of the bag and harness fastener elements to cushion the same on the tank surface.

The bag is designed to fit onto the fuel tank of a motorcycle and the contour of its base follows the shape of the tank. The bag has a number of parallel folds expending around its periphery so that its volume can be varied as required. A line of teeth(10, 11) for a sliding clasp fastener (9) are formed on each side of the fold line. The toothed lines of teeth of the central section(12) converge on the starting point of the fastener clasp. When the clasp is moved along the teeth, the edges are brought together and as the clasp is drawn completely around the bag periphery, the central section is folded inward , reducing the bag volume.
