145 Cutter composed of Ni-Cr-Al-alloy EP07111408.6 2003-05-14 EP1852517A2 2007-11-07 Arai, Tomohisa; Rokutanda, Takashi; Kido, Tadaharu

A cutter is composed of a Ni-Cr alloy containing from 32 to 44 mass percent of Cr, from 2.3 to 6.0 mass percent of Al, the balance being Ni, impurities, and additional trace elements and having a Rockwell C hardness of 52 or more. This Ni-Cr alloy provides a cutter produced with a superior workability and by a significantly simplified process, having a low deterioration in the hardness even when heated in use, having excellent corrosion resistance and low-temperature embrittlement resistance, and satisfactorily maintaining the cutting performance for a long time.

146 CUTLERY SET ASSEMBLY EP04768670.4 2004-09-27 EP1670341B1 2007-05-16 LAGO-ARENAS, Marta
A cutlery set assembly is disclosed and comprises a knife (50) and a spoon (10) and/or a fork (30). The items of cutlery are made of resilient plastics material and each item of cutlery has a cylindrical handle. The handles are shaped such that they can be nested coaxially with each other. When in such a nested condition, the handle of the outermost item extends more than half way around the handle of the second item to hold the items in the nested condition. The resilience of the plastics material keeps the assembly together.

150 Ni-Cr BASED ALLOY CUTTING TOOL EP03730497 2003-05-14 EP1505166A4 2005-12-28 ARAI TOMOHISA; ROKUTANDA TAKASHI; KIDO TADAHARU
A cutting tool, characterized in that it has a chemical composition: Cr: 32 to 44 mass %, Al: 2.3 to 6.0 mass %, and balance: Ni and impurities and trace amounts of added elements, and has a Rockwell C hardness of 52 or more. The cutting tool is a Ni-Cr based alloy cutting tool which is excellent in formability, can be produced with a greatly simplified production process, is reduced in the lowering of hardness in the case wherein it is heated during use, is excellent in corrosion resistance and the resistance to low temperature brittle fracture, and is capable of retaining good cutting performance for a long period of time.
151 SYSTEME DE LAME OSCILLANTE POUR COUTEAUX, PERMETTANT D'OBTENIR UNE GRANDE EFFICACITE DE COUPE SANS TIRER SUR L'OBJET A COUPER EP03789501.8 2003-11-25 EP1594662A1 2005-11-16 Gasman, Charles
The invention concerns a reciprocating blade system for knives characterized by a blade with curved or arc-shaped cutting edge capable of oscillating or swinging relative to the support whereto it is fixed by any means enabling said movement such that the cutting edge can operate a reciprocating rolling movement on the object to be cut when the handle is pushed backwards in the manner of a standard knife. In the embodiment represented in figure 1, the blade (1) has an arc-shaped cutting edge (5) and is fixed to a support rod (3) extended by a handle (4), through a pin (2) which enables its oscillation along the arrows (7) and (7bis). Thus, by setting the curved surface (5) of the blade (1) which forms the cutting edge and by pressing it on the object to be cut, a reciprocating movement imparted to the handle (4) along the arrows (8) and (8bis) as with any knife, is sufficient for causing the curved and cutting part (5) of the blade (1) to roll above it in one direction then in the other along the arrows (7) and (7bis) and cut with higher efficiency and without pulling the object to be cut. The blade (1) comprises a stop (6), which will brake its reciprocating movement at each stroke end in both directions, so that the cutting edge (5) always remains in contact with the object to be cut and prevent the blade (1) from partly or completely overturning.

155 Autogurt-Schneidesystem EP04014342.2 2004-06-18 EP1491414A1 2004-12-29 Stepput, Zoran
