The keeper tray corresponding to the removable keeper is made of a synthetic resin or a metal and has the formed space S thereon. The keeper tray corresponding to the removable keeper has a shape in which an opening 2 is formed on the bottom surface 1 by cutting out from an outer peripheral portion 1a of the bottom surface 1 to a center portion and opens to a space S.

SOLUTION: This abutment 1 for a dental magnetic attachment is made of titanium or a titanium alloy, and has a structure including: a male screw part 1a projected at a center part of a bottom surface, where the male screw part 1a is screwed into a female screw part 3a of the implant fixture 3; a keeper attaching hole 1b at an upper surface, where the keeper 2 having a uniform thickness and the same size/same area as those of an attracting surface of the magnet is inserted and bonded/fixed in the keeper attaching hole 1b; and an engagement part 1c for a rotary tool at a center in the keeper attaching hole 1b and/or at an outer frame part around the keeper attaching hole, where the engagement part 1c is provided for screwing the abutment 1 into the implant fixture 3. SOLUTION: A holder 3 for a magnetic member is fixed to an upper section of an implant body and a peripheral wall surface forming one part of a sphere is formed on a pocket 6 providing the holder 3 for a dental magnetic member. While a corresponding peripheral side surface is formed on a magnetic member 5 in a manner that the spherical surface are slide-contacted. A screw 8 for fixing a magnetic member is provided in such a way that a head section 8a is screwed projecting within the pocket 6. A peripheral side surface forming one part of the sphere is provided to the head section 8a. While a through-hole 5b for engaging the screw is formed on the magnetic member 5, and a corresponding peripheral wall surface within the through-hole 5b in a manner that the spherical surfaces are slide-contacted. The female part of the attachment comprises a capped magnet 2 attached to an artificial tooth, etc. The capped magnet 2 comprises a magnet 3 and a cap integrated with the magnet, the shell 4a of the cap covering the head of the keeper 1 when the magnet 3 attracts the keeper 1, so that the keeper and the magnet can be coupled together in accurate positions.

PURPOSE: To obtain the magnetic attachment for dental purposes which fixes artificial teeth into the oral cavity by utilizing a permanent magnet and the suction force of a keeper consisting of a soft magnetic material and which is small and light and has high suction force by magnetizing this permanent magnet to multiple poles. CONSTITUTION: This magnetic attachment for dental purposes fixes the artificial teeth into the oral cavity by utilizing the permanent magnet 1 and the suction force of the keeper 4 consisting of the soft magnetic material. The permanent magnet 1 is magnetized to the multiple poles in such a case. For example, the circular cylindrical permanent magnet 1 is magnetized concentrically to two poles. The diameter Di in the boundary region of the bipole magnetization is set at a prescribed relation with the outside diameter Do of the permanent magnet 1 and the respective areas of the two magnetized regions 5a, 5b varying from each other are designed at the same area. The front surface of the permanent magnet 1 is covered with a yoke 2b consisting of a magnetic stainless steel having corrosion resistance and the remaining part with a cover 3a consisting of a nonmagnetic stainless steel. SOLUTION: The attachment includes a permanent magnet, the cup-shaped yoke made of a corrosion-resistant soft magnetic material with the recess housing the permanent magnet, and a seal plate inserted into an opening of the recess in the yoke. The seal plate comprises a platy yoke made of the corrosion-resistant soft magnetic material and a seal ring made of the corrosion-resistant soft magnetic material installed on a periphery of the platy yoke. The seal plate is connected to the yoke by a plurality of spot welding areas which fix at least a butting part of the yoke and the seal ring, and by at least one all around welding area formed so as to cover a butting part of the yoke and the seal ring and a butting part of the seal ring and the platy yoke, thereby the permanent magnet is sealed.
