The relationship of the coil spring 16 and the projection 23 and the projection 24 is specified as follows. (a) the coil spring 16 is made longer than the space of the projection 23 and the projection 24 under the state of door closing, and is not operated as a spring. (b) the length of the coil spring 16 is made shorter than the space of the projection 23 and the projection 24 and worked as the spring when a door is opened after the door is closed and the engaging surface 13 of the ratchet 3 intends to be slipped off from the full-lock engaging stepped section 11 of the latch 2, (c) the coil spring 16 is made longer than the space of the projection 23 and the projection 24 and is not operated as the spring after the door is opened.
