PURPOSE: To obtain a high spinning efficiency with a slight area required by composing a bearing plate for holding each one spindle pair so that the position thereof can be changed by a holding device and the bearing plate can be swiveled through 180° at a swiveling position. CONSTITUTION: This ring spinning and spooling frame is obtained by making a bearing plate 14 holding each one of spindle pair 2a1 and 2b1 move to the outside of the range of the adjacent bearing plate or hindering machine parts by an apparatus 7 for changing the position, swiveling the bearing plate 14 at a swiveling position outside the range of the machine parts through 180° and changing the spindles from spinning positions to spooling positions. At least two of the pairs of the spindles are attached to each of winding sites 31,.... COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO

PURPOSE:To obtain a high-tenacity yarn even if a spinning part is operated according to an open end, friction, air jet method, etc., by doubling a yarn taken out of a package with a spun yarn spun from the spinning part and winding the doubled yarn in a winding part. CONSTITUTION:A sliver (s) is drafted from a drafting part 7 and then fed to an air jetting nozzle 8 to form a fasciated spun yarn (Y), which is then doubled with a yarn (Yp) taken out of a package (P), fed to a winding part 12 and wound.

PURPOSE:To provide the titled such equipment that a weight travelling along the revolution orbit is subjected to autorotation by a twister which is designed to carry out twisting operation at a constant interval to provide yarns with twists, thus applying uniform first twist on the yarns in an averaging manner as a whole. CONSTITUTION:A friction plate 32 at the lower part of a weight is held inbetween tightly by a twister provided at the side of the revolution orbit 31 of said weight revolvable round a shaft 33 to subject the weight to autorotation to apply twists on a yarn. Of the both upper and lower press plates 11 and 12 holding said friction plate 32, lower part of the press plate 12 is provided with an actuating plate 25 capable of vertical motion by an air cylinder 20, and by electrically controlling a solenoid valve 29, actuations and pauses of the twister are repeated at a constant interval. By setting the interval in a specified ratio to the twist number at the leg part, uniform twisting can be accomplished at every leg part.

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of fly waste, dust and static electricity and promote improvement in environment in spinning, productivity and product quality, by applying an additive having bundling effect and antistatic effect to raw cotton having a sticking adhesive material and spinning the resultant raw cotton under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:An additive having bundling effect and/or antistatic effect, e.g. lauryl phosphate potassium salt, is first applied to raw cotton having a sticking adhesive material to give preferably 0.2-1wt%, based on the cotton weight, solid of the additive. The resultant raw cotton is then spun under conditions of 18-30 deg.C temperature and 35-50 relative humidity. The temperature and humidity conditions are preferably adjusted in carding and drawing processes.

PURPOSE:To spin the titled raw cotton in excellent spinning process performance under the same temperature and humidity conditions as ordinary cotton fibers, by applying water to cotton fibers having sticking adhesive materials, allowing the cotton fibers to stand under conditions of high moisture content for a specific period and drying the cotton fibers for use. CONSTITUTION:Water is first applied to raw cotton having a sticking adhesive material by spraying, etc. to give >=10% moisture content. The resultant raw cotton is then covered with, e.g. a synthetic resin film, to allow the cotton to stand for >=3 days, normally 3-7 days while keeping the conditions of >=10% moisture content. The resultant cotton is finally dried and spun according to the conventional method. Preferably, the addition of a yeast or enzyme for promoting the hydrolysis of sugar to the water for applying to the above- mentioned raw cotton is more effective.

PURPOSE:To spin spun yarn at high speed without causing uneven twisting, by bringing belts of belt type twister which nip a stable fiber bundle into contact with each other by pressure. CONSTITUTION:The cylinder 21 and the bracket 22 are rotatably attached to the bed 29 in an integrated way, and the shaft 17, namely the drive pulley 11 is rotatable against the cylinder 21. The device 30 for providing contact pressure, the device 31 for adjusting contact pressure, and the device 32 for separating belts are set in the bed 29. The contact pressure between the belts is decided by the product of viscosity of compressed air fed to the device 30 for providing contact pressure and traveling velocity of belt, damping of fluctuations in contact pressure is rapid and almost constant contact pressure can be maintained.

PURPOSE:To wind up two or more single yarns while twisting them, by turning them compulsorily and swinging forward and backward, leading them to a bobbin tube under rotation, and by winding them up. CONSTITUTION:A bobbin tube 11 is held between a spindle 22 and a tip receptacle 3 and rotated as in a single piece with the spindle 22. This bobbin 11 is extended penetrating the casing 15, and a ring 9 provided with a yarn hole 10 is fitted in this penetrating part. A gear 7 on a spline shaft 13 to be driven shall mesh with a gear 8 formed at the outside circumference of said ring 9 to make it possible for the ring 9 to rotate. The tip receptacle 3 shall also be capable of being rotated by the spline shaft 13 through the gears 4, 5 in meshing. One of the ends of a lever 17, whose middle part is pivoted on a slide plate 21, is set at a side of the casing 15 using a pin 20, while the other end is put in engagement with a cam 19 through a roller 18. This slide plate 21 is reciprocated by a rotating lead screw 14.
