The backrest and the seat are mutually connected by an L-shaped fixture 400, the bottom portion and a supporting post are mutually connected, and the back side of the backrest is provided with a structure where a control rod 620 rises and falls, a shock absorber composed of a contact body 6235 for positioning the elevation of the control rod and an engagement portion 6236, and a clothes hanger. The clothes hanger is allowed to be adjusted at a required height and is changed to a higher position by pulling up the control rod using the shock absorber, and further pressing of an elastic protruded portion 6231 of the contact body disengages a shock absorber notches of the control rod from the contact body to lower the clothes hanger. SOLUTION: Guide pins 21, 22 are equipped respectively facing inside in the lateral direction onto upper parts of support arms 12, 13. Slit panels 26, 27 are placed almost vertical against the longitudinal direction of the back rest panel 20 from the lower end to the upper end. This chair 10 is usually used in a condition the back rest panel 20 is erected in the vertical direction. On the other hand, when a table is to be used, the back rest panel 20 is pulled up to the upper dead point and then turned backward at about 90° to make the back rest panel be a table. The upper end faces of support arms 12, 13 erected behind the seat part become stoppers to support the under face of the back rest panel 20 to keep the back rest panel horizontal. Further, a chair frame is constituted by using both pipe frames 4 and 5 as leg frames and using the first auxiliary frame 12 as seat frame. Therefore, the cover plate 1 as tonoboard, the both pipe frames 4 and 5, as reinforcing frames, and almost both of the auxiliary frames 12 and 13 constitute the elements as couch and chair frames, and unnecessary parts can be reduced in any use, and economic efficiency can be improved. | ||||||
