92 Concrete product having photocatalytic titanium oxide coating and method of fixing the coating JP33433299 1999-11-25 JP2001151581A 2001-06-05 SUGIYAMA YASUNARI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To strongly fix a titanium oxide coating to the surface of concrete and to obtain the titanium oxide coating having sufficient durability and excellent in cleaning performance to NOx. SOLUTION: A method of producing a concrete product comprises removing a thin cement coating present at the surface of the concrete product in order to expose a portion of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate to the surface of the concrete and then coating the obtained surface with a photocatalytic titanium oxide curable at ordinary temperature. The concrete product has the photocatalytic titanium oxide coating cured at ordinary temperature on the surface of the concrete, where a portion of fine aggregate and coarse aggregate has been exposed by removing the cement coating up to a depth of >=0.01 and <2 mm.
93 Surface treating agent for concrete and method for removing mortar on concrete surface using the same JP28548499 1999-10-06 JP2001106583A 2001-04-17 SHIMENO SHIGERU; KOMATSUBARA AKINORI; HAYAKAWA YASUSHI; ITO AKIHIKO; YAMAWAKI HIROSHIGE; NAMIKI YUTAKA; UDAGAWA YASUMASA; UMEZAWA KENICHI; IWATA RAITA
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface treating agent which has adequate setting retardance, has a viscosity to allow spraying and does not stagnate or flow out in spite of execution to non-lands and grades. SOLUTION: This surface treating agent used for a method for removing the mortar on a concrete surface contains water, a retarding agent and a film forming agent which gelatinizes in the presence of polyvalent metal ions or under an alkaline environment. The agent has the viscosity below 100 mPa.s. The surface treating agent forms the film by gelatinizing immediately after the agent is sprayed to the concrete surface in an uncured state. There is therefore no possibility that the surface treating agent stagnates in the non-land portions and flows in the direction of the lower grades. COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO

97 Decoration of surface of concrete JP27833095 1995-10-02 JPH09100181A 1997-04-15 SHINDO KUNIO; NARITA YOSHIAKI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce desired letters, pictures, patterns, etc., by making use of figures characteristic to the aggregate itself by ejecting high pressure water flow on a surface of a concrete to be decorated and letting expose an inner aggregate. SOLUTION: A mortar part of a surface to be decorated is detached by ejecting high pressure water flow on the mortar of the whole part or a part of the surface to be decorated to let expose an inner aggregate. As an alternative method, an unevenness for expressing desired letters, pictures, patterns, etc., has been formed on the whole surface of concrete to be decorated, in advance, and high pressure water flow is ejected on the dent parts or the protruding parts to detach the mortar part of the surface to be decorated to allow to expose the inner aggregate. For example, in order to expose an aggregate in a part of a concrete plane, a coating material 6 is applied on the part not to expose the aggregate to protect the mortar from detaching, and high pressure water flow 5 is ejected to the part where the aggregate is to be exposed.
