PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored mortar finish method by powder cement setting retarder capable of being finished by a specific color without causing effervescence or the like when color mortar finishing such as pseudo-soil finishing or colored passage execution or the like is carried out. SOLUTION: During the wet state of colored mortar to be cast, a powder setting retarder making color matching in accordanve with the colored mortar is sprayed. After a curing sheet is closely adhered to the surface thereof and is cured, the curing sheet is stripped off to scratch it out, it is cleaned out, and after the surface is coated with a waterproof sheet and is dried off, the waterproof sheet is stripped off to apply a water-repellent paint thereon. 142 | Method of washing finishing for water-permeable concrete | JP1231697 | 1997-01-27 | JPH10202633A | 1998-08-04 | ITO MASAAKI |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish a surface of water-permeable concrete finely without causing aggregates to remove by applying a retarder to a mixed material after it is cast and compacted, and subsequently performing the washing finish of cement paste on the surface of the concrete after applying a larger amount of a set accelerating agent than the application amount of the retarder. SOLUTION: The setting and hardening of cement paste 2 only on a surface of water-permeable concrete are retarded by the retarding action of a retarder 4, and high strength in the interior of the concrete can be created in a remarkably short period of time by the action of a set accelerating agent 5. Accordingly, at the time of the subsequent washing finish of the concrete, the washing finish of only the cement paste 2 on the surface of the concrete can be easily performed without causing aggregates 1 to remove. Further, this washing finish can be performed at an early stage after application of the set accelerating agent 5 and, therefore, execution work time can be shortened greatly as a whole. Furthermore, since this washing finish can be performed even after the lapse of sufficient time, work efficiency can also be improved if a work schedule is efficiently rearranged. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete block that presents a natural color tone and excels in appearance, and provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: A concrete block is obtained by forming into a prescribed shape a mixture of inorganic aggregates, cement, water and an organic resin. The inorganic aggregates contain 20 to 60wt.% cullet which is 1 to 5mm in grain size and 60% or more in absolute volume percentage, and 10 to 30wt.% cullet which is less than 1mm in grain size, and one concrete block wherein the cullet is exposed on a surface layer section on which a design surface is formed by brushing the surface layer section and the other wherein the cullet is exposed by brushing the surface layer section of a concrete block formed into a prescribed shape and cured by an abrasive brush containing an abrasive, are manufactured.

PURPOSE: To improve a resistance to slip and a working property by mixing inorg. based particles to a slurry-like cement based material to be solidified, subjecting a surface to a blast finishing after solidifying by an impact force of the order by which the cement based material to be solidified is shaved but the inorg. based particles are not shaved and exposing the inorg. based particles on the surface. CONSTITUTION: (a) The colored inorg. based particles 4 each having several mm to several cm grain size is mixed at need to the slurry-like cement based material to be solidified incorporated at need with an aggregate, a coloring material, a blowing material, etc., in a mixing ratio of an order at which a cement slurry 3 is cured to form a concrete plate-like body 1 containing the inorg. based particles 4. (b) Then, the surface is blasted. The cement part 3 is shaved by blasting which the inorg. based particles 4 are remained. A finished figure is shown in (c), the surface becomes scrubbed finish-like, and a surface work treatment is executed without necessitating any treatment at a site of construction. 146 | Production of tile | JP41673490 | 1990-12-28 | JPH05201779A | 1993-08-10 | UEDA HIROSHI |
PURPOSE: To prevent stripping by applying a binder dispersed with piles on the rear surface of a tile blank material to form a binder layer, then removing the surface layer part thereof and projecting the front ends of the piles from the remaining binder layer. CONSTITUTION: The binder prepd. by uniformly dispersing the piles 2, such as short fibers, having 1 to 25mm length and ≥5 denier length into the binder is evenly applied on the rear surface 1a of the tile blank material 1 to form the binder layer 4 having a prescribed thickness B. The binder of the surface layer part 4a of the binder layer 4 is then dissolved away by using an org. solvent, etc., to project the front end sides 2a of the piles 2 outward from the remaining binder layer 4. Consequently, the piles are implanted into the binder layer 4 in the state of maintaining the contact of the front end sides with the rear surface 1a of the tile blank material 1. The tile T effective for preventing the stipping is thus obtd. COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio

PURPOSE: To prevent the damage of a block completely by handling, and to remove washing mottlings by washing by coating the surface of the block immediately after instantaneous mold-release with a cement hydration reaction retarder mainly comprising mixed saccharides and washing the surface by water. CONSTITUTION: A surface layer 20 is formed onto a concrete rear layer 10, a plate is molded through press molding, the surface of the surface layer is coated with a retarder immediately after the molding of the plate, and the retarder is cured for a fixed time at a specified temperature. Concrete in a section not coated with the retarder is cured sufficiently, and uncured cement mortar is washed off by high-pressure injection or water washing by a brush from the surface of a block coated with the retarder and aggregate (seed stone) mixed in concrete is exposed. The retarder is obtained by further diluting an aqueous solution, which is blended with a 10-90 pts.wt. monosaccharide such as glucose, a 10-90 pts.wt. disaccharide such as maltose, a 0-40 pts.wt. trisaccharide such as maltotriose and a 0-40 pts.wt. polysaccharide higher than a tetrasaccharide such as tetraose, at 0.05-45wt.%. Surface retarder coating compositions of the invention are based on the use of at least one non-Ordinary Portland Cement (non-OPC) binder and at least one OPC set retarder agent, which are provided in powder form that can be mixed with water at the construction site. The coating is applied onto the surface of a mould or formwork using roller or spray equipment, and concrete can then be cast within 30-60 minutes against the coating. The OPC set-retarding agent operates to retard setting of the concrete so that it can be de-moulded the next day and its surface can be removed using a high pressure water spray to reveal aggregate embedded beneath the removed surface.
