【解決手段】バックミラー28は、車体フレームのハンドル支持部側に取り付けられる取付基部と、鏡体37を保持するミラーハウジング34と、ミラーハウジング34を取付基部に対して使用位置と格納位置との間で変位可能に連結する連結機構35と、を備える。ミラーハウジング34のうちの、鏡体37の配置される面と相反する側に、ウィンカ29を取り付ける。ミラーハウジング34は、格納位置にあるときに、鏡体37が上方を指向しウィンカ29が下方を指向する。

【解決手段】バックミラーの外蓋20は、透光可能な素材からなるとともに、外蓋20表面にはスパッタリング膜22が形成される。バックミラー外蓋20内部には、ランプケース30が設けられるとともに、ランプケース30は固定部品によってバックミラーの鏡台座40後方に固定される。更に、電源コード35がバックミラーステー10から延伸してランプ台座34と接続されることにより、鏡台座40とランプケース30が嵌め合わされて固定される。以上により、バックミラーは、未通電時には、外蓋表面が高い質感の鏡面仕上げの電気メッキ面を呈し、ウインカー切換による通電時には、電球の光源が外蓋20のスパッタリング膜22から透けて射出されて車両前方のウインカーとなる。

The use of the screen stay 4 of synthetic resin provides excellent design appearance and the use of the mounting cylindrical body 7 enables the side mirror 8 to be mounted together with the screen stay 4 and fixes the two locations of the screen stay 4 on the mounting plate 51, thereby securing a mounting strength against the load applied to the synthetic resin screen stay 4.
