The heating device which can be used for installation in a cabin vehicle of a cabin railway consists essentially of a control means for regulating the interior cabin temperature and a fan device which serves for warming up the interior cabin air and has an air inlet, an air outlet and, arranged between the inlet and the outlet, a heating means for warming up the interior cabin air passed through the fan device. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, in particular the fan device and the heating means are arranged in a box which is provided, on each of two opposite end walls, with an air passage member intended for circulation of the interior cabin air and connected to the air inlet or air outlet. For example, this box is dimensioned and can be inserted into a frame opening of the inner base of the cabin in such a way that the stated air passage members project above the inner base of the cabin in the attached state. |

A chair assembly (20) for chairlift including a seat (22) and enclosure member (43) mounted to the seat (22) for movement between open and closed positions. The chair assembly (20) has a drive (51) for moving the enclosure (43) which includes a rail (52) mounted to the movable enclosure member (43) and drive rollers (56, 57) carried by the frame (26) of the seat assembly (21). The drive rollers (56, 57) are powered by motion of the chair assembly (20) through actuator rollers (82, 83) that engage stationary actuator rails (84, 85) at the chair terminals. The actuator rollers (82, 83) are coupled by flexible drive cables (87, 88) to the drive rollers (56, 57) so that movement of the chair along the actuator rails (84, 85) produces rotation of the actuator rollers (82, 83) and the drive rollers (56, 57), which displaces the rail (52) and movable enclosure member (43). |

A cabin of an aerial cableway having a generally square shape and at least a door opening on the whole lateral wall. The door comprises two panels adapted to abut one another for closing the door opening and to move symmetrically away along a curved path towards the open position. In the open position each panel covers one half face of the end wall. An actuating mechanism includes link rods secured to the roof and to the floor of the cabin for guiding and moving symmetrically the door panels. |

A device which can be fitted on the chair of a chairlift cable transport system used in tourist resorts and which provides passengers with a protection against cold and adverse weather conditions. Properly shaped plate elements are so arranged that in a deployed position they form a continuous protecting shield extending from above the seat to downward and frontward of the seat and that when in an upward folded position they are superposed so that the device has a very reduced area subject to wind action on empty chairs thus permitting the keeping of all chairs permanently on the cable without jeopardizing the whole line during adverse weather conditions. Springs bias the safe-guard rail towards the folded position. The device adds little weight, is easy to operate by the passengers and does not affect the usual embarcation or disembarcation procedures. |

A transport device for small children which is detachably secured to a chair lift. The transport device includes a seat sized to accommodate a child. A safety bar is pivotally mounted to the sides of the child's seat, and which when placed in a chair lift, the safety bar is positively secured in the down or fastened position in a manner to prohibit the pivoting of the safety bar to a release or unfastened position. A linking member is connected to the transport device to secure the child seat to the back of a chair lift when the child's seat is placed in a chair lift, and a central support member is connected to the safety bar so as to prohibit a child from sliding under the safety bar when in the fastened position. |

A compound aerial tram chair cover formed with one smaller shell and a second larger shell pivotable about a horizontal axis to extend over the smaller shell in opening. The pivotable mounting of the cover provides shock absorption upon extreme pivotable motion and from an offcenter position biases the movable shell to either closed or open positions. Means are provided to maintain the cover partially open to allow comfortable extension of a user''s legs. The cover provides a small reactive surface to wind pressure while providing a large contained volume for user comfort, and allows loading during carrier motion.

In a monorail system a lightweight vehicle is designed for suspension from an overhead rail by drive units extending upwardly from a longitudinal beam which defines the main support for the entire vehicle structure, and the drive units are characterized in particular by having drive wheels pivotally mounted to swing upwardly under running engagement with the rail from a line normal to the running surface of the rail, to increase the urging and pressure of the drive wheel against the running surface.
