161 | Automatic fitting device for car tire | JP10210683 | 1983-06-08 | JPS59227507A | 1984-12-20 | NAGAYAMA YOUICHI; NAITOU TATSUO |
PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a car body fitting unit side and reduce a tact time by providing a lifter, for the suspension system link related to a camber angle, on the fixed side part opposite to a tire fitting station and reducing the camber angle. CONSTITUTION:When a truck is conveyed into a tire fitting station and positioned, a lifter plate 306 is elevated and pushes up a transverse link 307 of a front suspension system related to a camber angle to position it at a definite position. As a result, a drive shaft 308 and a wheel hub H are also lifted, and the camber angle comes to have a small value close to zero. By realizing a fitting work in a condition where the camber angle is made as small as possible and a suspension system is restrained, the structure and control system of the car body fitting unit side is simplified and its load is reduced so that a tact time can be shortened.

PURPOSE:To improve the rate of line operation by providing a nut discharge device in the vicinity of a tire fitting unit and having said device discharge a gripped nut at the time of occurrence of an abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A nut discharge device 150 is provided on the side of a tire phase adjustment device 20. The nut discharge device 150 is formed by four electromagnets 152 and a nut receiving box 153, while a nut runner 73 is opposed to the nut discharge unit 150. When equipping of a tire becomes impracticable and a tire fitting unit retreats to discharge the tire, the electromagnets 152 are excited due to a signal of abnormality and the nut runner 73 retreats. Accordingly, the nut N is attracted to the electromagnet 152. Subsequently, the electromagnet 152 is demagnetized to discharge the nut into the nut receiving box 153. Thus line stoppage is prevented and the rate of operation is improved.
163 | Equipment for mounting vehicle tyre | JP4776783 | 1983-03-22 | JPS59176102A | 1984-10-05 | TAKEDA JIYUNICHI |
PURPOSE:To prevent mismounting of a tyre by means of a simply constructed mounting equipment which is used in the process of assembling a vehicle by turning the wheel-mounted tyre in the circumferential direction until wheel bolt holes reach specified position holding the tyre and lifting it to the fixing point for mounting. CONSTITUTION:An air cylinder 111 makes a center guide 110 projected into the center hole 502 of a wheel-mounted tyre 500 to mount it on a chucking mechanism 100. This tyre chucking mechanism 100 is operated by an air cylinder 104 to catch the external periphery part thereof and turn it to the point of a specified phase. Once reaching the point of the specified phase, a photoelectric switch 114 is actuated to interrupt the turning and an air cylinder 113 is then atuated to have a pin 112 inserted in a wheel bolt hole 503 so as to fix the tyre. Thereafter, a floating plate 202 is lifted by a carrying mechanism to the point where the tyre is to be mounted, and is positioned to mount the tyre. The equipment, simply constructed, however, may be prevented from mismounting.

PURPOSE:To make it possible to detect position in right and left direction of car wheel mounting bolt even in the case of presence of a projecting section which sticks out longer than tip of bolt, by providing two plates and detecting that either one of these plates contacts the wheel mounting bolt. CONSTITUTION:When a hub 1 of a chassis came to a prescribed position, an actuator 11 is operated to move plates 7a and 7b toward a bolt 4. At this time, is the center of a projecting section 2 is located on the center of a gap 10, these two plates 7a and 7b contact a tip 5 of the bolt 4. If a supporting step 13 is further moved from this condition toward the bolt 4, a limit switches 18a and 18b emit their respective signals. A logic circuit 19 emits a signal by this, and by then output of an encoder 8, positions of the bolt 4 in the right and left directions are able to be sought.
