144 Device for adjusting viscosity of polymer solution JP16873799 1999-05-11 JP2000321192A 2000-11-24 MORIMOTO HISASHI
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control polymer viscosity suited for each kind of coating machining without being affected by external factors such as flow rate, turbulence, and liquid level change by connecting an ink viscosity-measuring device to a solvent- supplying device, and installing them in an ink stocker. SOLUTION: In a system where a polymer solution is filled in the middle of a sleeve 1 and a piston 2 with the same center, the fall time of the piston 2 is measured and a dilution solvent is supplied with the fall time as a parameter. In this case, cutting machining in the same shape is made at an equal interval in the vertical directions of the surface of the piston 2 (1), or a mechanism for allowing the piston 2 to fall while being rotated is given (2), thus reducing the gap between apparent viscosity and coating working efficiency. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of controlling the viscosity and density of a fluorescent substance. SOLUTION: A panel inner surface 11a is coated with the fluorescent substance 24 supplied from a coating tank 20, and its surplusage is recovered into the tank 20. When the quantity of the substance 24 in the tank 20 becomes equal to or less than a predetermined level, the tank 20 is replenished with the substance 24 from a replenishment tank 23. A fluorescent substance instrument 28 measures the viscosity and density of the substance 24 supplied to the surface 11a from the tank 20, selects either one of 1st or 2nd diluent 39 or 41 different in viscosity in accordance with the measured results of the viscosity and density to charge the diluent into the tank 20. The viscosity and density of the substance 24 can automatically be controlled stabilized, thereby forming a high quality film. COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
146 Inner force sense presentation device JP23862198 1998-08-25 JP2000066806A 2000-03-03 SAWAI HIDE; YOSHIMURA TSUKASA; MAKINO TAKUYA; MUKASA TOMOHARU
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the inner force sense presentation device which is small- sized, lightweight, and inexpensive, and hardly gets out of order, never damages a user owing to a runaway, and presents an inner force sense close to that in actual operation by providing an external shell member having its husk part filled with liquid, a viscosity increasing and decreasing means for increasing and decreasing the viscosity of the liquid, and a control means which controls the viscosity increasing and decreasing means. SOLUTION: The inner force sense presentation device 1 is equipped with the external shell member 2 into which the hand of a user can be inserted. The external shell member 2 is provided with an electric field producing means 8 as the viscosity increasing and decreasing means which increases and decreases the viscosity of electric viscous liquid 7. The electric field producing means 8 is composed of couples of electrodes 9 and 10 arranged on the outside husk 3a and inside husk 3b of the external shell member 2 so as to sandwich the electric viscous liquid 7. Then the control means 11 individually controls voltages applied to the electrodes 9 and 10. Consequently, an inner force sense can be given to all places of the hands and fingers of the user. Thus, complicated inner force sense presentation becomes possible.

PURPOSE: To reduce the dispersion of viscosity by providing a solution tank, a stirring machine, a viscometer, a shielding member and a solvent tank, and controlling the amount of solvent to be supplied while controlling a control valve. CONSTITUTION: Solution 2 in a solution tank 1 is stirred by a stirring machine 6 and the viscosity of the stirred solution 2 is measured by a viscometer 7. At such a time, since a shielding member 10 is arranged between the stirring machine 6 and the viscometer 7, the adverse influence is prevented from exerting upon the viscometer 7 by the flow of the solution 2 based on stirring. Based on a measured result by the viscometer 7, the drive of a control valve 15 is controlled by a controller 19 and the amount of solvent 12 to be supplied from a solvent tank 11 through a transport pipe 13 into the solution tank 1 is con trolled. Thus, the dispersion for the viscosity of the solution can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)1991,JPO&Japio
150 Method and apparatus for monitoring viscosity of fluid JP3388889 1989-02-15 JPH0210132A 1990-01-12 DEI JIEI RANGURITSUKU
PURPOSE: To detect a viscosity by making ink pass through two limiters, and monitoring the inside pressure of a passage coupling the limiters, against a pressure drop crossing the device. CONSTITUTION: This device has a diaphragm type pressure converter 2 fitted in the radial direction through the medium of the sidewall of a housing 1 at its center. Besides, at the inlet end of the housing 1, a jewel orifice 3 having a center opening 4 forming a flow-rate limiter is provided. The flow rate of a fluid flowing in the limiter is influenced by a pressure drop crossing the Jewel, and does not depend on the viscosity of ink. At the other end of the housing 1, a capillary inlet tube 5 is provided, and this makes a second limiter, and the rate of a flow passing this depends mainly on the viscosity of a fluid passing this. Signals from converters 2, 10 are sent to a comparator circuit, and when a difference equal to or larger than a predetermined quantity from a desired level is produced, it detects this. The device is arranged in the line from a pressure supplying part from a pump to an ink injection printing head. COPYRIGHT: (C)1990,JPO
151 Control circuit and viscosity monitoring device using the circuit JP29225288 1988-11-18 JPH01222314A 1989-09-05 ROBAATO EI NOOKUROSU JIYUNIA
PURPOSE: To produce a control circuit at low cost with a little components by providing a 1st circuit for operating a valve for supplying air and a 2nd circuit for operating a valve for supplying a solvent or a concentration agent. CONSTITUTION: When potential difference (V 1-V 2) gets higher than a 1st voltage, a coil 10 is energized, and an air valve 20 is operated so that a piston 22 can be moved to a starting point position in viscous liquid. When the potential difference (V 1-V 2) gets lower than a 2nd voltage, a coil 11 is energized, and a solvent valve 21 is operated so that the solvent can be supplied into the viscous liquid. When the piston 22 is freely dropped or driven in the viscous liquid, at its ending point position, a limit switch 17 is turned on by the piston 22, a current flows through a current monitor loop, the time point when the piston 22 arrives at that ending point position can be monitored, and viscosity is measured. Thus, this control circuit has comparatively a little components and can easily be assembled at low cost. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
