PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working part raising and lowering apparatus for a farm working machine, capable of solving such problems that a vehicle body of the farm working machine sometimes pulls back, when the machine is used as a seedling planting machine and positioned on a slope of a soil surface, a farm field surface, etc., after seedling planting work in an area near a levee, and when a traveling clutch is disengaged, while an operation for reverse traveling is not conducted, and further the machine sometimes pulls back in a similar manner, when the machine travels on an ascending slope, etc., and the clutch is disengaged, and therefore a part of a working section, especially, a grounding section, of the machine is thrust into the soil surface and damaged by meeting with large resistance. SOLUTION: This working part raising and lowering apparatus for the farm working machine is structured so that a ground working apparatus 3 is subjected to raising control when a reverse travel sensor detects reverse rotation of traveling wheels 2. The working apparatus 3 mounted on a rear side of the vehicle body conducts ground work in a lowered position. When the traveling wheels 2 of the vehicle body conduct the reverse rotation, the reverse travel sensor detects the rotation, and then the working apparatus 3 is raised to a non-working position with respect to the vehicle body as a result of detection by the sensor. Further, the working apparatus 3 is not raised only by the operation for the reverse traveling, but raised only after the reverse traveling of the vehicle body is conducted. SOLUTION: The tractor has a hydraulic lifting and lowering cylinder 10 for driving the lifting and lowering of the implement R attached to a car body so as to be lifted and lowered, and a turning angle sensor of a steering wheel for detecting the turning operation of the car body. The tractor also has a turning mode setter 23 constituted so that a first mode (auto-lifting up) for lifting the implement R to a nonoperating position so as to synchronize with the turning operation, and holding the lifted position of the implement R after finishing the turning, and a second mode (full-auto lifting) for lifting the implement R in association with the turning operation, and lowering the implement R when the turning is finished, may be selected.
