CONSTITUTION: The destructurizing process A of the starch is performed by heating the starch particles at a temperature above the melting point and the glass transition point of the component to transfer the molecular structure at a high temperature, and the molding process B is performed to form the shaped article by the injection molding. The melt of the destructurized starch is extruded first, then cooled to be solidified, and cut into the particles for the injection molding or pressure molding. The water content of the pre-processed and essentially destructurized starch/water material is about 10-20 wt.% of the composition. By heating the starch/water material at a temperature within the range of about 80-200°C which is above the melting point and the glass transition point of the component, the starch is essentially destructurized, and the melt, that is, the thermoplastic metal can be prepared.
