Es handelt sich um einen am Fahrrad anzubringenden Fahrradständer, der durch ein in einem Aussenrohr (2) gleitendem Innenrohr (1) eine flexible Länge erhält. Beim Abstellen des zunächst vom Benutzer aufrecht gehaltenen Fahrrades wird das innere Rohr (1) durch eine Feder (3) aus dem Aussenrohr (2) herausgedrückt und kommt so in seiner maximalen Länge mit dem Boden in Kontakt. When the arm is lowered by back-pedalling as the rider comes to a halt, the cross-shaft (26) is drawn beneath the rear wheel and the tyre (13) is engaged by the roller and the rear wheel is lifted off the ground, a large part of the weight of the rider being transferred to the ground through the rear wheel, the roller, the cross-shaft and the stabiliser wheels.

Es handelt sich um einen klappbaren Fahrradständer, dessen Länge variabel ist und so gewährleistet, dass das Fahrrad jederzeit auch auf unebenem Untergrund im idealen Neigungswinkel abgestellt wird. Wird der Fahrradständer ausgeklappt solange das Fahrrad in der Senkrechten gehalten wird, schiebt eine Druckfeder die im Außenrohr befindliche Teleskopstange mit Fuß heraus, so dass diese auf den Boden trifft. Während des Neigens des Rades wird die Teleskopstange dann wieder eingeschoben, wobei bei Erreichen des idealen Neigungswinkels eine in einem auf dem Außenrohr aufgebrachten Kugelkanalstück befindliche Kugel in einer Zahnlücke des Zahnrads, das im Kugelkanalstück angebracht ist, in Richtung Außenrohr transportiert wird und stumpf an der abgestuften Wandöffnung des Außenrohrs hängen bleibt. Durch Druck der Kugel auf das Kugelrad wird das Kugelrad am Weiterdrehen gehindert und damit ein weiteres Einschieben der Teleskopstange in das Außenrohr verhindert. Beim Wiederaufrichten des Fahrrads wird die Teleskopstange durch die Kraft der Druckfeder herausgedrückt und die Kugel wird sanft in den Kugelkanal zurückgeführt.
