A brake-shoe head 40 has an insertion opening 42c which is elongated to allow an L-shaped brake-shoe cotter 50 having a bend section 52a to be inserted in the direction in parallel to the rotational axis of a wheel. The brake-shoe cotter 50 is inserted into the insertion opening 42c and is further inserted into the mounting holes 32c of the brake shoe 30 inserted into the mounting opening 40a of the brake-shoe head 40. In this way the brake shoe 30 is fixed to the brake-shoe head 40. Furthermore, since a first locking member 62 which is swingably supported by the brake-shoe head 40 at one end swings so as to be in contact with the bend section 52a, a positional change of the brake-shoe cotter 50 toward the upper edge of the insertion opening 42c is regulated. It is therefore possible to provide a brake shoe mounting structure in which an existing brake shoe is usable and which makes it possible to easily perform an attaching/detaching operation. |

In a shoe brake for rail vehicles, a brake linkage actuated by a braking cylinder by means of brake blocks (14) consisting of brake shoes (13) and brake shoe inserts (12) radially acts on at least one wheelset (1) of the running gear of the rail vehicle. The object of the invention is to arrange and design a cheap shoe break in such a way that it may bring up higher braking performances while avoiding damages to the tyres of the wheelset (1) and minimising the rolling noise of the wheelset (1). For that purpose, at least one rotationally symmetrical braking body (7) is fixed on the shaft (2) of the wheelset, between the disks (3) of the wheel set (1). Die Klotzbremseinrichtung weist zwei Bremsklötze (4 und 5) je Fahrzeugrad (1) auf, deren einer Bremsklotz (4) unmittelbar und deren anderer, gegenüberliegender Bremsklotz (5) über eine Zugstange 14 mittelbar von einer Klotzbremseinheit (6) betätigbar ist. Es ist ein mittel- oder unmittelbar an einem Festlager (19) des Achslagers (3) gelagerter, zweiarmiger Hebel (20) vorgesehen, dessen eines Ende mit dem einen Bremsklotz (4) und dessen anderes Ende mit dem anderen Bremsklotz (5) mittelbar über Stangen (21,24) oder unmittelbar gekoppelt sind. Durch den zweiarmigen Hebel (20) und dessen Koppelung mit den Bremsklötzen (4 und 5) wird sichergestellt, daß letztere im Lösezustand stets um gleiche Lösehübe vom Fahrzeugrad (1) abgehoben sind; diese Lösehübe bleiben auch bei Längsverschiebungen des Fahrzeugrades (1), wie sie bei Lenkachsen vorkommen, erhalten. |
