86 Memory device having the function of detecting the locking or unlocking condition of a remote controller US139626 1998-08-24 US6097282A 2000-08-01 Wei Te Wang
A memory device having the function of detecting the locking or unlocking condition of a remote controller comprises a battery, a key circuit a memory unit, a light emitting element, a testing key, an encoding unit, an infrared ray or a high frequency emitting driving circuit, etc. The positive end of the battery is connected with the power source (V+) of the memory unit. The lock key and unlock key of the key circuit are connected with the respective input end of the memory unit and the encoding unit. The output end of the memory unit is connected with one end of the light emitting element. Another end of the light emitting element is connected with one connection of the testing key and another end of the testing key is grounded. By the action of the testing key, the condition of the remote controller may inform the user. That is, if it is in a lock condition, then the light emitting element will light, while if it is in a "unlock" condition, then the light emitting element will extinguish. Therefore, by the special circuit design, the user may be informed about the message of the remote controller without returning to the original location to know the lock (or unlock) condition of the controller, such as the anti-theft device of a car or a motorcycle, an iron scrolling door, or a host without any setting function.

88 Electronic vehicle security system with remote control US622357 1996-03-27 US6028505A 2000-02-22 Ze'ev Drori
A multifunction vehicle security system, which includes a receiver connected to a control unit which processes received information and enables various functions. The user can increase or decrease the sensitivity of the system sensor, by merely pressing a button on the remote control to increase the sensor sensitivity, and another button to decrease the sensitivity. A special programming mode resets the system programmable features and values to factory settings, to quickly re-establish to a known state all or only preselected features. The system provides automatic silencing during night conditions of the system's arming/disarming chirping to confirm the change of system state. The security system generates a door unlocking command to the vehicle's power door locking system to unlock the doors in the event of a vehicle collision. A theft warning LED energy management system conserves battery power when the vehicle is left unattended for long periods of time. When the system is armed, a timer is started, and upon expiration of a time period, the LED activation duty cycle will be reduced from an initial duty cycle. The polarity of the door locking and unlocking signals is programmable, enabling the installer to match the polarity requirements of a particular vehicle. An enhanced panic mode is provided, wherein the vehicle doors are automatically unlocked if the vehicle ignition switch is off, or if the vehicle ignition switch is on, the doors will be automatically locked. The system provides installer programmability of the normally open/closed mode for the vehicle starter, ignition, and/or fuel pump disable relays.

92 Automobile anti-theft system US45119 1979-06-04 US4383242A 1983-05-10 Nathan Sassover; William A. Rennie
An anti-theft system which is armed only when a hand-held coded transmitter is operated; the system is disarmed upon a subsequent operation of the transmitter. Whenever the transmitter is operated, the horn beeps, and the lights flash; this provides both verification that the system is armed, and serves as a car-locating aid in a parking field. Tampering with the automobile results in intermittent beeping of the horn and flashing of the lights. The horn beeping may be disabled during the verification and car locating sequences, while still operating if unauthorized access to the automobile is attempted. Other features include disabling of the horn beeping by momentarily turning on the ignition; beeping of the horn after the system is disarmed and a door is opened by the operator if, during his absence, unauthorized access was attempted; locking and unlocking of the doors with transmitter operation; and detection of unauthorized access attempts by sensing vibrations in the vehicle radio loudspeakers.
93 Modular alarm circuit US511527 1974-10-03 US4006451A 1977-02-01 Humberto Nobile
An alarm circuit module for automobile, home or industry comprises a time delay device, such as a thermostatic relay, having a set of thermally responsive contacts and an electrical heating element. When energized, the heating element causes the contacts to close for connecting an alarm to a source of power, such as a battery. The heating element is energized by the battery through sensor switches in doors, windows, etc., responsive to unauthorized entry. When the alarm is readied with a lockable switch, and a door responsive sensor switch is closed by an unauthorized entry, energization of the heating element causes the thermally responsive contacts to close. And when the switch is subsequently opened, residual heat contained in the set of thermally responsive contacts causes the alarm to remain energized for a preset period of time. When the contacts cool, the alarm is automatically deenergized to save the battery. The alarm circuit module contains a minimum number of components and is easily installed to operate with the battery and horn standardly supplied in an automobile by connecting four wires from the module to readily accessible wires under the dashboard. The alarm circuit is tested from the dashboard with a test switch and lamp incorporated with the module. The test switch also functions as a panic button manually operable during an emergency to energize the automobile horn for the preset time period.
94 Vehicle anti-theft alarm circuit US523977 1974-11-15 US3967239A 1976-06-29 Robert E. Steele
An anti-theft system for a motor vehicle which includes an ARM ENABLE latch and an ARM latch which establish a circuit arming condition in response to movement of a key operated switch from a neutral to an arming position. An ALARM latch is responsive to a plurality of sensor switches which in turn are responsive to whether a compartment of the vehicle is open or closed. If a compartment is opened after the arming condition has been established the ALARM latch causes the vehicle horn to be periodically energized for a predetermined interval of time. Delay means are provided for preventing a change of state of the various latches for a predetermined interval of time after actuation of the switch controlled input to the latch so as to prevent inadvertent triggering of the latch circuit. Indicator means are provided for detecting a malfunction in the system which would prevent the circuit arming condition from being established.
