<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent corrosion by formation of a battery at an abutment surface to a knuckle, and prevent generation of radio noise by static generated at tires in a bearing device for a wheel installed on the knuckle formed of aluminum alloy for achieving light weight. <P>SOLUTION: This bearing device for a wheel is provided with an outer member 1 having a plurality of lines of rolling surfaces 4 and 4 in an inner circumference, an inner member 2 having rolling surfaces 5 and 5 respectively facing the rolling surfaces 4 and 4, and a plurality of lines of rolling bodies 3 and 3 provided between the rolling surfaces 4 and 5 facing each other. The outer member 1 has a car body mount flange 1a in an outer circumference to be fixed to the knuckle 14 of aluminum alloy. The inner member 2 has a wheel mount flange 2a. On an outer diameter surface part of the outer member 1 as the abutment surface to the knuckle 14 and a side surface of the car body mount flange 1a, a coating layer 17 of electric insulation is provided. PURPOSE:To reduce a cost involve in a wheel mounting structure where a disc section of a wheel is secured on a wheel mounting hub by forming the hub out of a flat sheet with a guide projection provided so as to allow the projection to be inserted into a guide hole arranged at the center of the disc section. CONSTITUTION:A wheel mounting hub 4 which is formed out of a pressed circular plate, is secured to the outer end of a wheel axle 5 by welding. On the other hand, numbers of bolts holes 2a are drilled out at an equal interval on a disc 2 of a wheel 6 at the mounting spots corresponding to those of the hub 4. These bolt holes 2a, the concaves of which are formed by pressing, are designed to have two functions: a function as a washer for a bolt, and a function for tightening the disc 2 with the hub 4 by an elastic reaction. When the wheel 6 is installed, with the wheel axle 5 supported high by a hydraulic jack and others, the disc is aligned by inserting a pin 3 into a guide hole 2b of the disc 2 while the guide pin 3 which is fixed on the hub 4, is positioned upward. Then, both of them 4 and 6 are secured by means of special bolts 1a and 1b. |

PURPOSE:To apply onto tires having different width while employing same dies by fitting the band section of an annular rim where a rim is formed at one end of band section to the drum of wheel rim where a rim is formed at one end of restricted drum section then welding. CONSTITUTION:A wheel rim 1 is pressed from steel plate to provide a drum section 2 through restriction while a rim 3 is formed at one end of drum section 2 and an inner flange 4 is provided at the other end to be coupled with the hab of car. While an annular rim 5 is pressed from steel plate to form a rim 7 at one end of the band section 6. The annular rim 5 is secured through welding by pressure inserting the band 6 into the drum section 2 of wheel rim 1. Thereafter, tires are mounted onto the left and right rims 3, 7. The gap between the left and right rims 3, 7 can be varied by simply varying the inserting depth of the annular rim 5 into the drum section of wheel rim 1 with correspondence to the tire width thereby varying the welding position. |
