PURPOSE: A device for manufacturing a yoke for a rivet is provided to successively separate and eject remnants after trimming and the complete yoke for the rivet, thereby omitting extra separation work subsequently. CONSTITUTION: A device for manufacturing a yoke(1) for a rivet comprises a transferring part(11), a correct position settling part(12), a trimming part(13), and an ejecting part(14). The transferring part grips the incomplete yoke, which is continuously fed after a first processing through a multi-stage forging work, and then horizontally transfers the yoke to the position for trimming. The correct position settling part moves up when the yoke is close to the position for trimming, and moves down when the yoke reaches the position for trimming, so that the yoke can be inserted into a correct position. The position for trimming, which is formed at the trimming part, is shaped into a groove so that a punching work and a forging work on the settled yoke can be simultaneously implemented. The trimming part simultaneously implements trimming work and a final molding, and then withdraws the complete yoke in the upper direction of the position for trimming. The ejecting part ejects the complete yoke and remnants after trimming. |

An apparatus for manufacturing blind rivets is provided to reduce working hours extraordinarily and maximize output per unit time accordingly by consecutively performing feeding and processing of the blind rivets. An apparatus for manufacturing blind rivets comprises a rivet feeding part(2), a disc-shaped rotary plate(6), a circular arc-shaped supporting plate(14), a rotary plate rotating part(16), a rivet withdrawal part, a forming part, and a rivet discharge part. The rivet feeding part feeds the blind rivets consecutively after arranging blind rivets randomly injected in a state that the blind rivets are simply coupled to the rivet placing grooves. The rotary plate is installed to be rotatable centering around a main shaft(10) fixed onto a table(8). The rotary plate has a plurality of rivet placing grooves(12) longitudinally formed along a circumferential surface thereof at predetermined spaced intervals. The supporting plate is installed to be closely adhered to a partial section of an outer circumferential surface of the rotary plate to maintain a state that the blind rivets are inserted into the rivet placing grooves. The rotary plate rotating part intermittently rotates the rotary plate in one direction. The rivet withdrawal part inserts the blind rivets into the rivet placing grooves after withdrawing the blind rivets simply coupled to the rivet placing grooves from the rivet feeding part. The forming part is installed in a section in which the supporting plate is installed. The forming part compresses an expanded tube while moving in the direction perpendicular to the surface direction of the table. The rivet discharge part discharges formed-completed blind rivets. |

PURPOSE: A method and dies for manufacturing an anchor rivet are provided to improve productivity and quality of products by automatically forming a crossed shaped notch groove that is formed on an end part of a river body using dies during manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: In a method for manufacturing an anchor rivet comprising cutting and supplying process of supplying a material to a unit part so that the material is cut by a cutting unit part, and transferring the cut member to a first die(20), shape forming process of supplying the member to a shape forming hole so that a shape is formed by hitting the member with a punch, rivet forming process in which a wedge hole penetrating the head of the rivet forms up to a body of the member by second punching of a punch pin in the punch, and assembly process of inserting a wedge into the wedge hole, the method for manufacturing the anchor rivet comprises notch groove forming process in which the member is supplied into a forming hole(21) of the first die(20) to be punched into the forming hole(21) by the cutting and supplying process so that a notch groove into which a cutter(25) is inserted is formed at an end part of the member by the cuter(25) inside the first die(20); and shape and wedge hole forming process of supplying the member on which the notch groove is formed by the notch groove forming process into a second die so as to form a shape of the member and the wedge hole into the member. |

A method of manufacturing self-pierce rivets from a length of wire comprises separating the length of wire to form a plurality of slugs, each slug defining a head end and a tail end. The method further comprises forging a plurality of rivets from the slugs, each rivet having a head formed from the head end of a slug and a tip formed from the tail end of that slug, the head and the tip of the rivet being separated by a shank which defines a longitudinal axis, the rivet having a bore which runs substantially longitudinally through the tip and at least part way along the shank. For each of the plurality of rivets, the method comprises performing a machining operation on the tip the rivet or on the tail end of the slug from which the rivet was forged. |

The invention relates to a method for producing an attachment element (R) comprising a shaft (100) having a first end provided with a head (200) and a second end that is intended to be deformed in order to form a button (300) providing a bearing surface opposite the surface formed by the head (200), said shaft (100) having a nominal diameter (D). The method is characterised in that the element is sized such that the minimum length (L) of the shaft (100) to be deformed to form the button (300) is no less than 1.25 times the nominal diameter (D) of the shaft (100). The invention is suitable for use in the production of attachment elements, such as rivets. |

The invention relates to a method for producing a solid punch rivet, in which a trimmed wire piece (8) is deformed by means of a tool (1) comprising a punch (4) and a matrix (2), wherein the wire piece (8) is clamped between shaped parts (33) which are arranged in a jaw like manner and are radially engageable, and which form the peripheral rivet contour (321) and comprise at least one annular groove (322) forming an undercut, and subsequently an axial force is applied to the wire piece (7) at the two ends thereof via a respective pressure pin (24, 46), which results in the wire material fluently filling the peripheral rivet contour formed by the shaped pieces (33). The invention further relates to a tool for producing a solid punch rivet by said method. |
