21 Automatic mounting device for tension spring JP24909684 1984-11-26 JPS61125747A 1986-06-13 YAJIMA YUTAKA; SUZAKI EIJI
PURPOSE:To rapidly mount a tension spring with accuracy by permitting the captioned device to correct an inclination of a hook part of the tension spring by means of a detection limit member and then mount it on a mounting part. CONSTITUTION:Thrown many tension springs S into a supply hopper 11 with a rotary vibration dish 14 being actuated, the tension springs S are entangled with and separated from each other and discharged from a discharge part 11a. The tension springs S discharged as such are moved by means of a transfer mechanism 12, a hook part Sa of one end of which is brought into sliding contact with a guide plate 19, whereby it is corrected in transverse displacement thereof and positioned at a capture part by means of the set device 20. Thereafter, the tension spring 3 is captured and lifted by the set device 20, and in the course thereof the hook part Sa of the one end passes between front and rear guide walls 25a and 25b of a direction limit member 25 and transferred to a mounting position.
22 Device for producing microphone protective net JP23127482 1982-12-23 JPS59118235A 1984-07-07 NEMOTO MITSUO
PURPOSE:To produce a secure protective net with good workability by caulking a metallic ring to a metallic net in the upper half part having a semispherical shape and a metallic net in the lower half part having an open bottom part thereby binding both nets to one body. CONSTITUTION:The opening edge of an upper metallic net 6a and the opening edge of a lower metallic net 6b are fitted into the groove parts 15, 15 between the inner flanges 14, 14 and outer flanges 20, 20 of a metallic ring 8 and are set on the inside surface of a ring rest roll 21. A heating hammer 1 is inserted into the net 6b from the open port side and is so adjusted to press the gear-shaped crest part of a caulking roll 2 to the inner flanges 14, 14 of the ring 8. When the caulking surface of the ring 8 is heated with a heater 3, the revolving shaft 4 of the hammer 1 is striken toward the outside in a radial direction by an electromagnetic plunger 9, by which the flanges 14, 14 are bent and are bitten in the crushed state into the mesh of the nets 6a, 6b. Such heating and striking are performed over the entire inside circumference of the ring 8, whereby the nets 6a and 6b are joined and fixed.

31 METAL BASKET AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME US15587603 2017-05-05 US20180127143A1 2018-05-10 Chuan-Ching YEH
A method for making a basket includes the following steps. An expanded mesh basket and a frame are previously prepared, wherein the frame has a hollow loop-shaped structure. The expanded mesh basket has a receiving space defined therein and an open end communicating with the receiving space. A flange extends from a periphery of the open end and the frame has an annular slit defined therein for receiving the flange. The expanded mesh basket and the frame are respectively processed to peripherally form a coating, wherein the coating of the expanded mesh basket is different that of the frame. The flange of the expanded mesh basket extends into the ring of slot and the frame is clamp by a mold to securely assembled the expanded mesh basket and frame.
32 Apparatus and method for attaching fencing material US11386041 2006-03-21 US20060243340A1 2006-11-02 Dennis Wheeler; Vance Countryman; Bryce Gray; Paul McBride; Russell Myers; Cody Curtis; David Allan; Ryan Lingmann
A tool for fastening fencing material to a post with a staple. The tool includes a base plate; first and second handles; first and second crimping arms, and a cam operatively engaged with the first handle. A slide is operatively engaged with the cam. The first and second handles and the first and second crimping arms are pivotally interconnected and attached to the base plate so that when the first and second handles are pivoted towards one another from an open position, the cam advances the slide, which advances the staple so that the crimping arms may crimp the staple to the fence post. A method for attaching the staple to a fence post is also described and claimed. An inventive staple is also disclosed.
33 Automatic screening machine for continuously applying spline to a window screen frame US09703014 2000-10-31 US06470562B1 2002-10-29 Albert A. Simone; Lisa Simone

34 Process and apparatus for the production of innersprings for mattresses and upholstered furniture US359748 1989-05-08 US5054178A 1991-10-08 Jakob Zuger
An automated process and apparatus for the production of innerspring mattresses having an innerspring situated between top and bottom frame members. A microprocessor controlled apparatus forms the frame members and arranges them for transportation to a clamping table. A first frame member is fed to the clamping table. An innerspring is then fed to the clamping table where it is clamped to the first frame member around the periphery thereof, thereby forming a first combination. The first combination is then removed from the clamping table and a second frame member is fed to the clamping table. The first combination is then turned over and fed back to the clamping table where it is then clamped to the second frame member, thereby forming a completed innerspring mattress. During this process, the frame members are produced and then fed in one direction, the innerspring is fed from another direction, and removal takes place in still another direction along a T-shaped assembly line, resulting in fast, synchronous production.
35 Method for applying a fabric material to a frame US167898 1988-03-14 US4856171A 1989-08-15 Rene Croteau
A method of applying a fabric material, such as a screening fabric or fiber glass cloth in a retention groove of a rectangular frame by applying a spline cord in the groove with a fabric portion disposed therein. The method comprises storing data pertaining to the dimension of a rectangular frame, in an electronic control device. A frame support structure is automatically positioned to a frame receiving position where the frame is placed thereon. At least two frame engaging members of the frame support structure are moved to position the side members of the frame in a desired configuration. The side members are gripped to maintain them along respective straight transverse axis. A predetermined length of fabric material is then positioned to the frame to overly the retention groove of the side members. A spline cord positioner is displaced to a predetermined position on one of the side members of the frame and a spline cord is disposed in the groove by displacing the positioner along the entire length of the groove in the side member while forcing the spline cord in the groove over a portion of fabric. The fabric is trimmed simultaneously adjacent the spline cord. After the spine cord has been applyied in the circumferential groove of a frame, the cord is cut and the fabric is also cut to disconnect it from a supply of fabric. Thereafter the assembled frame is disconnected from the frame support structure.
36 Tension band US533129 1974-12-16 US3951385A 1976-04-20 Clarence Lee Folden; Nicholas D. Reidy
A tension band for retaining a chain link fence fabric tension bar to a support post for maintaining the fence fabric under tension. The tension band comprises a generally flat unitary sheet metal member having a circular opening to receive a support post and reduced opening to receive a tension bar. The reduced opening is elongated and lies on a line generally tangent to the circular opening.
37 Method and apparatus for assembling flexible sheet material into frames US35847473 1973-05-09 US3851684A 1974-12-03 WYRICK A
The present disclosure is directed to an automated method for assembling flexible sheet material into a grooved frame and an apparatus for performing the method, wherein a pair of generally transversely spaced carriage means carrying pressing rollers are selectively, cyclically, sequentially and intermittently moved relative to each other in a generally transverse direction so that the rollers are effective to roll the flexible material into spline grooves formed in window frames and the like, thereby eliminating the necessity for longitudinally moving and/or rotating said frame during the assembling operation.
