PURPOSE:To eliminate a big shaft of a driving member within a stage part of a member to be driven by making the member to be driven follow the driving member with an arc-shaped locus same as that of the driving member. CONSTITUTION:When an intermittent gear 31 engaged with a driving gear 30 is rotated, a power plate 38 is pressed by a cam 37 and shifted down. Then a driving member 3 interlocking the plate 38 moves upward contrarily centering on a support shaft 1 with an arc-shaped locus. Accordingly a member 4 to be driven is pulled by the member 3 since the member 3 engages a stage part 4a. In this case, the member 4 is supported by a guide member 5 and shifted with an arc- shaped locus since a rubbing part 4c with the member 5 has an arc-shaped form. As a result, the part 4a also draws an arc-shpaed locus in accordance with the locus of the member 3. Thus the member 3 never moves within the part 4a. |

PURPOSE: A controller of a vehicle air conditioner is provided to prevent the unnecessary transmission of electric signals to a control unit, thereby protecting a circuit included in the control unit. CONSTITUTION: A controller of a vehicle air conditioner comprises one or more switches controlling a numerical value within a range of maximum and minimum values , a control unit(10) controlling each device according to the numerical value of the switches, and a caution unit(20). The control unit outputs warning signals when the maximum or the minimum value is input or sensed more than once. The caution unit calls user's attention to the air conditioner when the output warning signals are transmitted so that the repetitive input of the maximum and the minimum values is prevented. In an adjusting knob mechanism, a base includes a first supporting portion and a second supporting portion. A first clicking gear includes a plurality of first indentations and disposed on the first supporting portion. A second clicking gear includes a plurality of second indentations and disposed on the second supporting portion. A limiting element is disposed on the base. A movable element is disposed within the limiting element and configured to move in an axial direction of the base relative to the limiting element. A connecting mechanism extends into the limiting element. An adjusting cover is connected to the movable element by the connecting mechanism, so as to move the movable element in the axial direction of the base relative to the limiting element and the second clicking gear. The adjusting cover is configured to rotate the limiting element and the movable element through the connecting mechanism. |

A hand operated drain cleaner includes a manually operated rotatable drum and an elongated flexible cable at least partially held in the drum. A portion of the cable extending from the drum has a cable axis, and rotation of the drum rotates the cable portion about the cable axis. A handle is adapted to rotatably support the drum. The handle includes a barrel portion and a handle portion. A feed control device includes a housing having a feed passage axially therethrough for receiving the cable and a trigger for moving the feed control device between a non-actuating position and an actuating position. In the actuating position, a feed control device is pivoted relative to the handle such that the driving mechanism engages the cable thereby inducing axial movement of the cable via rotation of the drum. A locking mechanism is opera operably associated with the feed control device. |

A parking brake assembly which includes a brake lever, a rotary clutch and a lock-release mechanism which cooperate to selectively lock and release a parking brake. The clutch allows actuation of the brake lever in one direction and prevents movement of the brake lever in an opposite direction. The lock-release mechanism allows selective movement of the rotary clutch and the brake lever together in the opposite direction. A gear mechanism is operatively coupled between the brake lever and the rotary clutch. |

The mirror of the present invention provides a new device and method for generating a “reflection” of an object that may be processed before display. The invention comprises an image-capture system, an image-processor and a flat-panel display. By this combination, the invention is capable of acquiring the image of a subject in front of the display by passive means not requiring transmitters or reflectors on the subject (such means including optical, ultra-sonic, and electromagnetic sensors), processing the image in programmable ways to create an altered image of the subject and displaying the new image, which appears to mimic the movement and orientation of the original subject. |
