CONSTITUTION: A base fabric-treating agent composition comprises (A) 50-90 pts.wt. of a both terminal hydroxyl groups-protected diorganopolysiloxane of the formula (R is 1-20C substituted or non-substituted monovalent hydrocarbon; m is 20-10000), (B) 1-30 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent (e.g. an odorless oxime type crosslinking agent) for the component A and (C) 1-50 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler (e.g. silica or diatomaceous earth), the total amount of the composition being 100 pts.wt., dispersed in an organic solvent (e.g. dichloroethane or methylene chloride). The agent can be coated on a nylon and/or polyester fiber base fabric and dried at ordinary temperature to readily provide the base fabric capable of maintaining good water repellency, water resistance, sealability, etc., for a long period of time.
