An in-car information display system includes a power storage device including a storage battery charged with direct-current power obtained by converting electric power from an overhead wire, a plurality of display devices that operate by receiving supply of direct-current power from the power storage device and provide a guidance display related to a service of a train to passengers, and a terminal device that operates by receiving the supply of the direct-current power from the power storage device and delivers to the display devices information for guidance display that is information used for the guidance display. The power storage device switches a power supply operation to the display devices according to a residual capacity of the storage battery and reduces a total amount of electric power supplied to each of the display devices.

A train control operation system, the system comprising a data collection server for collecting data relating to one or more elements of trains, a network for distributing data relating to the elements to subscribers and a subscription server for hosting definitions of elements which is accessible by subscribers of the system, so as to enable each subscribers to access the definitions from a single source.
47 METHOD FOR MANAGING SERVICE SCHEDULE OF VEHICLE US14585037 2014-12-29 US20160189438A1 2016-06-30 INSEOK BANG
A method for managing a service schedule of a vehicle includes receiving the service schedule of the vehicle that travels along a predetermined route from a control server, generating first service information of the vehicle based on position information of the vehicle, generating service state information of the vehicle based on the service schedule and the first service information, and displaying the service state information of the vehicle using a user interface.
48 Train control system US14227671 2014-03-27 US09004413B2 2015-04-14 Akira Kurita
With respect to each of trains, a ground device 6 detects a train location in the control section on the basis of a propagation time of a radio wave between a vehicle radio set 4 and a wayside radio set 5, in the case in which the ground device 6 determines that the number of trains has reached the controllable number of trains or there is the possibility that the number of trains reaches the controllable number of trains in its own control section, a ground device 6 disposed in an adjacent control section to the control section in which the number of trains is reaching the controllable number of trains, when a train 2 scheduled to travel toward the control section stops in a station 8, prevents departure of the train 2 scheduled to pass through the border of the control section by making the train 2 wait at the station 8.
49 System and method for automated, wireless short range reading and writing of data for interconnected mobile systems, such as reading/writing radio frequency identification (RFID) tags on trains US09570772 2000-05-11 US20030183697A1 2003-10-02 Jeffrey Wayne Porter
A system and corresponding method include an RF tag coupled to a communications backbone running through a mobile system such as a train. The communications backbone can form part of an electrically controlled pneumatic braking system of the train, which includes a head end unit in the locomotive, and car control units in each railcar of the train. The RF tag includes a communications unit that permits data exchange between the head end unit and other tags within the train, via the communications backbone. The RF tag also includes a processor and an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) having memory for storing data therein. The RF tag furthermore includes an antenna to permit the tag to exchange data wirelessly with external readers, such as hand-held readers and wayside readers.
50 Apparatus for supporting the preparation of travel routes US09367807 1999-08-19 US06249741B1 2001-06-19 Eiichi Iwasaki; Shin Takamatsu
A machine for assisting crew itinerary production is proposed which alleviates the burden of operator's works and produces practical crew rosters in a short period of time. At first, old crew roster data are copied as they are as new crew roster data in the middle of production. Subsequently, among new train IDs corresponding to boarding section data constituting new itinerary data, the data which exist as new train IDs corresponding to new rolling stock operation data are adopted as they are, and the data which do not exist as new train IDs corresponding to new rolling stock operation data are eliminated, suspensions of the service being made to correspond to the data. The same processings are executed for all new itineraries. The train IDs which have not been allotted among new train IDs corresponding to new rolling stock operation data are classified into the unallotted group. Then, new train IDs within the allowable range of departure/arrival information of boarding sections of suspension of the service are selected from the train IDs classified into the unallotted group among new train IDs corresponding to new rolling stock operation data and adopted as the new train IDs corresponding to the boarding section data.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system that can reliably control each of trains within a control section and can improve passenger service by preventing stop control performed by safety functions.SOLUTION: On the basis of wireless propagation time between an on-board wireless device and a wayside wireless device 5, a ground device 6 detects a train position in a control section. When it is determined that the number of manageable trains is reached or may be reached in the control section thereof, if a train 2 scheduled to travel toward the control section is stopping at a station 8, a ground device 6 installed in a control section adjacent to the control section in which the number of manageable trains is reached makes the train 2 scheduled to pass the boundary between the control sections wait at the station 8 and prevents the train from departing.
