PURPOSE:To attain ease of attachment/detachment of a radio equipment and to attain burglar proof by mounting the radio equipment on a base while having only to turn the radio equipment, e.g., clockwise after the radio equipment is aligned on the mounting base, removing the mounted radio equipment while having only to turn on, e.g., counter clockwise to bring the radio equipment to the state that it cannot be removed from above the base. CONSTITUTION:In mounting the radio equipment 11 to the base 12 fixed to the bar body with a bolt 17, a cylindrical projection 11a of the radio equipment 11 at first is aligned to a circular hole 12a of the mounting base 12 to fit the projection 11a to the circular hole 12a. In this state, in applying a force the radio equipment 11 from the bottom side counter clockwise, the radio equipment 11 is turned around the axial line of the cylindrical projection 11a, a spring plate 14 is fitted elastically in a ring slot 13c of a pin 13 to mount the equipment to the mounting base 12 without causing a play. In removing the radio equipment 11 from an automobile, a lock 15 is unlocked by using a key 15a at first and the radio equipment 11 is turned clockwise viewed from the bottom side and lifted up. |

PURPOSE:To facilitate inserting and fitting of the adaptor by a method wherein the bottom plate of the radio adaptor, constituted so as to have the shape of a gate and inserted into and fitted to the opening of a front panel for mounting the radio, is divided into left and right parts and opposing end parts of the divided bottom plates are fitted foldably and pivotably. CONSTITUTION:In case the car radio 4 is attached to the front panel 2 for mounting the radio provided on an instrument panel mounted in a cabin, the radio adaptor 5 is inserted into and fitted to the opening 3 of the front panel 2, thereafter, the in- dash car radio 4 is inserted into and fitted to the radio adaptor 5 to hold it. In this case, the radio adaptor 5 is formed by bending a metal strapping or the like into the shape of a gate, but the bottom part 5a thereof is divided into left and right bottom piece 5a', 5a'' vertically at the central part thereof. The terminal parts of each pieces 5a', 5a'' are put on together and fitted by a screw 28 while are energized toward a direction to bring them into the normal condition thereof by a spring 29 wound around the screw 28. According to this method, the insertion and fitting of the adaptor 4 into the opening 3 may be facilitated. |

PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting of the radio by a method wherein the radio adaptor is formed into the shape of a gate and is inserted into an opening on a front panel for mounting the radio by deflecting both of the side plates thereof inwardly, thereafter, the car radio is inserted into and fitted to the adaptor from the front part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The radio adaptor 5 is inserted into the opening of the front panel 2 for mounting the radio provided on an instrument panel mounted in a cabin. This adaptor 5 is formed by bending a steel strapping into the shape of a gate and, in case it is inserted into the opening, both side plates 5b, 5b are deflected inwardly as shown by the dotted lines to narrow the distance between the flange parts 5c, 5c, thereafter, the adaptor is inserted from the front side of the opening. After insertion, both of the side plates 5b, 5b are returned to the original conditions thereof and the flange parts 5c, 5c are contacted closely with the rear surfaces of the terminal parts of attaching angles 19, thereafter, are fixed to the angles with screws 13. Then, the indash car radio is inserted into and fitted to the adaptor 5 from the front side thereof to hold the radio within it. |
