PURPOSE: A self-piercing rivet forging apparatus is provided to penetrate the upper plate of self-piercing connecting objects and to make the upper plate of the penetrating portion not to be completely sheared in the process of pressing in a lower plate, thereby reinforcing the connecting strength of the upper plate and lower plate by the penetrating portion. CONSTITUTION: A self-piercing rivet forging apparatus includes a first die member(20), a first fin member(30), a second die member(50), a second fin member(60), a third die member(80), and a third fin member(90). A cylindrical billet(101) is inserted into the first die member. The first fin member is inserted into the first die member and molds a centering groove(103) at the insertion end part of the billet. A reserve molding product, on which the centering groove is formed, is inserted into the second die member, and a plurality of protrusion parts(55) for molding a slit(5) are included in the inner side surface of the second die member. The second fin member is inserted into the second die member, is coupled to the protrusion parts, and extrudes and molds a shank part(3). The extrusion molding, in which the shank part is formed, is inserted into the third die member, and the head molding groove(85) for molding the head unit(1) is included in the third die member. The third fin member is insertably installed at the third die member and supports the extrusion molding.
