Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Transport von Kranken in einem Flugzeug, die innerhalb der Flugzeugpassagierkabine angeordnet und als Patienten-Transporteinheit ausgebildet ist und zumindest medizinische Versorgungsgeräte sowie eine Krankentrage aufweist, besteht die Erfindung darin, daß die Patienten-Transporteinheit benachbart zum Türbereich der Flugzeugpassagierkabine vorgesehen ist und mit einem Nutzraum in Nähe der Flugzeugtür koppelbar ist, wobei während des Fluges der Türbereich zumindest teilweise als Stellplatz für die Krankentrage vorgesehen ist.

Diese Lösung bietet den Vorteil, daß eine kostengünstige Möglichkeit für den Transport von Kranken in einem Passagierflugzeug geschaffen wurde, wobei die Vorrichtung flexibel einsetzbar ist und bei Bedarf den Airlines eine Möglichkeit zum Transport von Patienten bietet bei gleichzeitigem minimalem Platzbedarf.

The adaptor comprises a second mounting plate and a second release mechanism comprising a second locking pin and lock spring bias, or a wedge mount comprising a collar coupled to the mounting plate, a capture plate coupled to the collar and a wedge release and wedge bias spring to bias the wedge release in a locked position.
