| The present invention relates to a keyboard for a smart phone, and the objective of the present invention is to provide a keyboard for a smart phone which enables input of short keys in various kinds of operating systems when a user makes a key input using buttons while the keyboard is connected to a smart phone or a PC in which a certain operation program is installed. To do so, the keyboard for a smart phone in the present invention includes a power unit which supplies power necessary for the operation of the keyboard; a communication unit which performs wireless communication between the keyboard and a smart phone or between the keyboard and a PC; a key input unit which is composed of multiple input buttons and through which a certain key input is inputted from a user; a memory unit which stores short key information corresponding to various operation systems installed in the smart phone or in the PC; and a control unit which processes a certain key input inputted through the key input unit as a general key input or processes the key input as a short key input corresponding to a mode stored in the memory unit depending on the mode setting by the user and performs general control on the device such as power management or communication management.
