CONSTITUTION: A piezoelectric element 1 is received in a resin case 9 composed of a case body 92 and a cover 92. The piezoelectric element 1 is fixed with one end thereof fixedly interposed between an end edge of the case body 91 and an end edge of the cover 92. Two contact pieces 10a and 10b are inserted in the other end wall of the case body 91, and the bimorph element 1 is arranged such that the free end thereof comes into and out of contact with these contact pieces 10a and 10b. A partially threaded rod 4 is screwed through an internally threaded hole formed in the bottom of the case body 91, so that the position thereof can be easily adjusted. A latching relay(170) moves a contact point according to an output signal of the control part, and controls connection of the power input part, the first power supply part, and the second power supply part. The control signal input part delivers the control signal generated by an operation of user to the control part. A switch generates the control signal by on/off operations of the user.

The movable piece 102 has an attracting part formed of a magnetic body on the surface opposed to the permanent magnet 109 and a movable contact layer 106 for opening and closing the fixed contact layers 103. By applying a voltage to the bimorph piezoelectric body 108, this is used as a driving source, and the movable contact layer 106 is driven to open and close the fixed contact layers 103.

When suction force by the magnetism of the other pole 5b of the permanent magnet 5 exceeds the shock force, the moving member 7 maintains a stable balanced state by the spring force of the plate spring 8 and the magnetism of the permanent magnet 5, and contacts 3, 3 of connectors 2, 2 sucked and held by the other pole 5b of the permanent magnet 5 via the fixed gap 6 are connected together. The highly reliable operation can be thereby performed.
