PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an interlock system such that a sight piece is easily replaced, the design of spectacles is not influenced by a replacing mechanism and, particularly, the system is reliable and durable.
SOLUTION: Spectacles, particularly, industrially safe spectacles have a frame having flank pieces fitted by projection parts of flank pieces and two eye holes having peripheral grooves and sight pieces inserted into those grooves. The frame is separated nearby the eye holes for disassembly and replacement of a sight piece, and locked by a lock device at a closure position. A frame (2) is separated nearby projection parts (9, 17) of flank part pieces. The projection parts (9, 17) of the flank part pieces at extension parts in a separation region (7) of the frame (2) are each separated into an upper projection part (9) and a lower projection part (17) of an upper frame member (6). A rotary lock device (13) is provided to rotate to the upper projection part (6) of the frame member (6) and lock it at the position by the lower projection part (17).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture the hinge which constitutes a pivot part for a temple, a bridge, etc., at low cost by a using synthetic resin, to improve the additional value of spectacle design by incorporating the hinge as one constituent element of the spectacle design, and to increase the stability in the expanded state of the hinge. SOLUTION: A 1st hinge member 2 made of a synthetic resin while a couple of external bearing pieces 9 and 10 are provided successively to a pedestal part 11 and a 2nd hinge member 3 made of synthetic resin while an internal bearing piece 20 interposed between the upper and lower bearing pieces 9 and 10 is provided successively to the pedestal part 21 are used. The internal bearing piece 20 is interposed loosely between both the bearing pieces 9 and 10, those bearing pieces are connected by a pivot shaft 5, and the 1st hinge member 2 and 2nd hinge member 3 are enabled to be opened and closed. Further, engagement unevenness parts 23 and 23 which engage each other when the hinge is open are provided at external parts on the internal edge sides of the pedestal parts 11 and 21 of the 1st hinge member and 2nd hinge member. |

PURPOSE: To simplify the process for producing lenses and to decrease the kinds of metal molds, etc., by arranging the mounting hole positions of the bridge and hinges of frameless spectacles in line symmetrical positions with the ordinate center line of the lenses and forming the mounting structures which are the same on the right and left. CONSTITUTION: All screws 5, 5-1 to 5-7 of plastic lenses 1 to be used for the frameless spectacles consisting of the bridge 2 and the hinges 3 attachable and detachable to and from the plastic lenses 1 are common. The spacings between the respective screws; between the screw 5 and the screw 5-1, the screw 5-2 and the screw 5-3, the screw 5-4 and the screws 5-5, the screw 5-6 an the screw 5-7, and the mounting positions of the screws in the direction vertical to the lenses 1 are made the same. The mounting hole positions of the bridge 2 and the hinges 3 are arranged in the line symmetrical positions with respect to the ordinate axial centers 11 , 12 of the lenses 1 and the hole diameters of the screws are made the same in such a manner, by which the spectacles are disassembled if all the screws are removed. The use of the right and left lenses 1, 1-1 by interchanging either side is thus possible. |

PURPOSE: To make a side joint, which is heretofore fixedly disposed at a lens frame, freely attachable and detachable.
CONSTITUTION: This side joint 25 is provided with a hollow groove 11 at the end face on its right side edge. The width on the aperture side of the notch of the hollow groove 11 is set smaller than the width on the bottom side of the notch. A packing member 26 is packed into the upper side of the hollow groove 11 and the upper side is formed partly blind. The hollow groove 11 is fittable onto a projecting line 17 disposed at the end face of the side edge 16 of the lens frame 15 while the hollow groove 11 is slid from above to below. The left side edge of the side joint 25 is provided with a hinge part 27 and a temple 30 is freely turnably mounted at the hinge part.

PURPOSE: To individually and highly accurately suit user's build and each using purpose and to guarantee high protection by fixing the side part of a visual field plate to the under cut of a frame and sliding and fitting a holding part.
CONSTITUTION: A glass plate 1 has a projection part 4 on its side part in the extending direction of the plate face. When the plate 1 is attached to the frame, the projection part 4 is engaged with the under cut 6 on the rear part of an extension part 5 of the frame 2. The holding part 25 has two extension parts 26. A nose pad 27 is formed on the rear face of the extension parts 26. A U-shaped lock part 28 formed on the upper face of the extension parts 26 has a front plate 29 and a rear plate 30. When the holding part 25 is slided and fitted to the frame 2, the front plate 29 is overlapped to the front face of the plate 1 and the rear plate 30 is overlapped to the rear face of a nose bridge 35.

PURPOSE: To be advantageous for the aesthetics of eyeglasses by providing a male section, which is slender in lengthwise direction, parallel with the lengthwise axial line of a temple member at an intermediate member.
CONSTITUTION: 1st and 2nd hinge parts 14 and 15 are assembled by hinge pin screws 16, and a ball 35 is pressed onto a cam face 15a by the lateral face of the 2nd hinge part 15. The lateral contour of cam face 15a of the 2nd hinge part 15 determines the stable position of the temple member. As a means for determining the stable position of the temple member, a passage 22 for accepting a screw stopper 26 is used. When fitting a temple body element 12 to an intermediate member 13, the screw stopper 26 is inserted into the passage, a male member 19 is screwed with a bore 28 of the temple body element, and the head part of the screw is fastened until it is held and engaged with a holding surface 24. Thus, fitting is not performed by any visible side screw.
