PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unexpected jumping-up of a bridge girder and perform stable running through maintenance of a running passage without a step by a method wherein an auxiliary structure body positioned in front of a running surface on the fixed side, such as a pier, is arranged in a freely rise/fall manner to a fixed body, and a running passage continued throughout a range from the fixed body to the pier is built. SOLUTION: An auxiliary structure body 31 comprises two short auxiliary rails 32 arranged between a rail 3 on a pier 1 and a rail 18 on a bridge girder 14 to form a running surface. Arm pieces protruded from the both sides of the base end part of the auxiliary rail 32 nip an auxiliary structure body mounting bracket 4 and coupled in a rise and fall state to the pier 1 by means of a pin axle 33a. An auxiliary rail 32 enters the dent part of the bridge girder 14 in a horizontal state, and a protrusion 34 protruded from the under surface of the tip part is placed on the upper edge of a side plate 16 to form a continuous running road freed from a difference in a level and comprising a rail 3, a tip rail 3a, an auxiliary rail 32, and a rail 18. The auxiliary structure body 31 always has a rotation moment in a rise and fall direction and is revolved following the bridge girder 14.

A bridge apparatus to transfer persons between a moving structure such as a vessel and a second structure such as an offshore installation, for example, to span gaps between work boats and fixed offshore installations such as wind turbines. The bridge comprises a platform supported by a line, the platform being moveable in a vertical direction by movement, of the line, wherein the line extends in a vertical direction from the platform to a capstan, and from the capstan to a counterweight. Thus the inboard end of the bridge can remain in generally the same vertical position in relation to the support structure of the vessel, moving with the vessel in the water, and the outboard end of the bridge apparatus can remain in generally the same vertical position relative to the wind turbine, and the relative vertical movement between the wind turbine and the vessel is compensated by the movement of the bridge, while the stepping on and stepping off points on the bridge remain generally still in relation to the vessel and the wind turbine.

SOLUTION: This automatic opening/closing control unit of an overbridge 40 is constituted in such a way that an open/closing part 44 bestriding rails is arranged between the inclined fixed parts 43, 45 that have been formed to the quay to which transport ships 2, 3 come alongside. when the approach of continuous unloaders 7, 8 is detected by ultrasonic distance sensors, the electric motor for opening or closing the opening/closing part of the overbridge 40 is normally driven for opening the upper part of the overbridge that bestrides over the rails so that a train can be passed through; while when the train is passed and gone away from the continuous unloader by a prescribed distance, the electric motor is reversely driven to return the opening/closing part from the open position to the initial position.
