Ein Verbundplattenelement (11) für Spurbahnen weist gekrümmte Stoßflächen (12, l3) zur Bildung von im wesent­lichen kreisbogenförmigen Stoßfugen auf. Die konvexe Stoßfuge trägt eine Nut (15) und die konkave eine Feder (14). Deren Querschnittsbegrenzungen sind derart bogen­förmig, daß sich in der Stoßfuge zwischen benachbarten, gleichartigen, im Verbund auf einer elastischen Bettung verlegten Elementen (11) eine elastische Einspannung ergibt, die eine mit Zunahme der zu übertragenden Kräfte zunehmende Neigungsdifferenz zwischen den benachbarten Elementen zuläßt. Insbesondere können die Querschnitts­begrenzungen etwa kreisbogenförmig sein. Auf diese Weise lassen sich bei Verlegung auf einer elastischen Bettung die auf ein Element wirkenden Verkehrskräfte zum Teil auf benachbarte Elemente übertragen und auf die Bettung ableiten.

Ein Verfahren zur Verlegung dieser Verbundplattenele­mente besteht darin, daß vom bereits verlegten Spurweg aus ein weiteres Element abgelegt und dann gegen das stirnseitige Ende des Spurwegs gepreßt wird.

Der Bodenbelag besteht aus gelenkig miteinander verbundenen Tragelementen (1), die als Hohlprofil mit einer im wesentlichen ebenen oberen Fläche (10) und einer von einer Ebene abweichenden unteren Fläche (11) ausgebildet sind, und die an ihrer einen Längskante einen zylindrischen Wulst (26) und an ihrer anderen Längskante eine hohlzylindrische Vertiefung (27) aufweisen, wobei die Vertiefung (27) und der in ihr befindliche Wulst (26) die gelenkige Verbindung der Tragelemente darstellen. Die nicht ebene untere Fläche (11) der Tragelemente (1) weist erhabene und versenkte Knickkanten (16 bzw. 17) auf, wobei die erhadeben Knickkanten zusätzlich mit einer Rippe (23) versehen sind.

Zur Aufnahme von Befestigungselementen (35) nimmt die Breite der Tragelemente (1) von der Längskante mit der Vertiefung (27) zu der Längskante mit dem Wulst (26) hin ständig ab.

Der Bodenbelag kann auf nicht festem Untergrund sowie auf Vertiefungen, wie Gräben od. dgl. verlegt werden.
