When a concavity can be formed in the cargo 78 by this excavative unloading, a self-propelled reclaimer 1 is moved to this concavity. A guide plate for scraping up the cargo 78 is being installed in this reclaimer 1, so that the cargo 78 at the lower part of a hangover part 61 of a ship 51 is collected in an unloading operation zone at the lower part of the hatch 62.
