(2) The point where gross peaking appears in the lower part of the axial direction is about 4 to 6 nodes from the lower part when the axial direction is divided to 24 nodes in the operating state with the deeply inserted control rods and, therefore, the inside of the 1/3 to 1/2 from the bottom end is determined as the plutonium enrichment degree fuel. The region which is not included in either of (1) and (2) is determined as the high plutonium enrichment degree region (if possible, whole MOX).
