CONSTITUTION: The primary voltage via detection circuit 5 of a transformer 3 is compared with reference voltages of respectively different set voltages in comparators 7 thru 9 and when it becomes lower than the reference voltages, trigger pulse generating circuits 10 thru 21 are driven by the comparing outputs generated by the circuits 7 thru 9. Then, when pulse transformers 13 thru 15 generate trigger pulses, the connections of taps 18 thru 20 are switched by the AC control elements 21 thru 23 connected to the respective taps 18 turu 20 on the secondary side of the transformer 3. Hence, a constant electric power having been compensated of the fluctuations in supply voltage is supplied to the light source for exposure such as halogen lamp, etc. of the copying machine with the small constitution.
