CONSTITUTION: The objective solubilization type preparation for tree trunk injection cmprises a biologically active ingredient such as O,O-dimethyl-O-4-methylthio-m-tolylphosphorothioate or O,O-diethyl-O-4-methylsulfinyl-m-tolyl-phosphorothioate, water, a solvent such as lower alcohol or glycol ether and a surface active agent solubilizing said active principle such as polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether and its condensation product with formaldehyde. The resultant preparation is applied to trees, preferably by means of a nonpressurized method. This preparation is suitably applied to resinous trees.
